I’ve been here twice and it really is fantastic. The first time I had Nishi- I ordered the shrimp steamed dumplings, dragon roll and the firecracker. It was truly the best sushi I have ever had, so much so that I returned to Barbados a month later and it was my first dinner spot. Unfortunately, despite ordering the same thing again a month later, it was not as good as the first time. It is expensive!!!! Four cocktails, two rolls and an appetizer was $400 BBD = $200 USD.

Nishi was a wonderful discovery in Barbados Holetown . Our server Donnelle made our experience matter. We tried some interesting choices . The ribs , ceviche and the sushi (fire cracker, volcano ) were delicious , full of flavors . The dumplings were incredible . I Would suggest some wines in between a sancerre and a Montrachet . The Saki sampling was interesting and appreciated . Thank you Nishi

Very polite staff and great cocktails; but food was disappointing. Had several sushi dishes- none of them great . The yellowtail sashimi which is supposed to be thinly sliced was in thick slabs and didn’t taste very nice. Spicy tuna rolls were a miss too. The vegetable tempura was slightly better , along with the Thai green curry , but neither matched expectations food wise of a high end sushi restaurant sadly .

We had a wonderful time last night. We had 7 people and we were waited on by Donnelle. She was so great! We ordered a bunch of sushi for the table and everything was just delicious
