Nook is adjoining to the island roots cafe. Same physical space.
I loved the variety of books, puzzles, and activities for kids(there were some paint by number and stamp activity sets)
Prices are reasonable and I feel like the items in here are quite unique. I've never seen them anywhere else in Tortola.

This is such a neat little place. It has a cafe section with coffee and beverages as well as some light food. It also has a book section for both adults and kids. Highly recommended

Great shopping experience - friendly staff, extensive selection of books (both new and second hand), games, puzzles and accessories. Looks like they have lots of fun weekly work shops also. Love their wrapping and locally sourced products.

As someone who travels a lot it is very important for me to find nice and cozy cafe where I can sit, relax, drink coffe take a coke and cookie, and call back my family.
Price of ordinary coffe and coke is around 7$. Small coffe was 5$ (same as it is in the one of the most expensive countries in Europe-Norway) and coke was 2$... 🤔 In many contries it would be vice verse, but ok... and I let the tip of 1$. So I spent (as I usualy spent an averge price in cafes), 8$ and of course, like in many Caribbean islands I didn't get recepit...
When I asked for WIFi, girl told me that I can not get it, if my order is not at least 10$.
(Now, don't forget that we are talking about coffe/bistro prices here, and not the restaurant prices)
If this happened in Europe, it would be a real scandal. This is very disrespctful and discriminated behavior toward customers. As someone who often visit caribbean islands and this place, I will never return to this cafe again and I will not recommended to Europeans.
It is strange how such "small" detail, can ruin the complete picture and impression of the whole island.
