This is the real fountain of youth. The locals say that every minute you spend soaking here turns your clock back an hour! Empress Josephine, Napoleon's bride, spent a great deal of time in the springs here as a young girl, being schooled by the Convent nearby. She returned here often as an adult to relax in these same waters, often returning to France with both water and mud from the volcano for her beauty spa treatments. Even she recognised rhe incredible healing and rejuvenating powers of this volcanic mineral spring. The mineral spring here burst forth from the side of the mountain and cascades gently down at a wonderfully warm and refreshing 30⁰ to 35⁰ C (about 90⁰ ro 95⁰ F) consistently. There is also an adjacent pool which is slightly warmer. Soak, relax, bring something good to drink, preferably on ice lol. Enjoy your afternoon in paradise. You will be surrounded by wild Cacao, Bannana, Nutmeg, Papaya, Kalabash and other exotic trees and beautiful jungle flowers. Sometimes you even share the waterfall with the hummingbirds as they playfully dart in and out of the waterfall's mist. After you leave here you will feel incredibly refreshed and your skin will feel amazing! You will want to return as often as possible! I personally visit the waterfall every few days when I'm on the island I swear it keeps me healthy and youthful. Also, I love to watch the himmingbirds.

Simple and unbusy waterfall on the road to Sugar Beach. We spent less than an hour there - lovely views under the Pitons on the path to and from the waterfall. The water from the waterfall was warm which was a nice surprise. Super refreshing. And cheap - think we paid approx $3 each to enter. Well worth a quick stopover.

Beautiful falls with separate bathing pools but unfortunately this site is very run down and in need of some major renovations. It's about a 10-minute walk down stairs without any proper railings or anything to hold onto. There is a very small, run down changing room at the top of the stairs where you buy the entrance tickets, but there are no showers or washrooms. I'd love to visit again after they upgrade the facilities a bit.

A very simple 'spa' nestled between the Tet Paul Nature Trail and Sugar Beach. Definitely on the 'road less traveled' - perhaps not the most popular destination, but the employees at the entrance were friendly and the experience was more local than the shiny, sterile options for (mostly) western tourists. As with the other locations, head there in the early morning or when the cruise ships are not in town to enjoy nature in peace, at your own pace, and without the Insta crowd hogging the best pic spots.

Was not crowded when we were there, each pool has a different temperature. First one being the warmer one. It was a nice spot to hang out for a hour after our hike. You can walk there from town only takes 30 mins, take the road along the coast, it turns into a trail that turns back into a dirt road. One you get to the pavement stay to your right up the steep hill past Martha’s restaurant (great spot for lunch) about 350 meters from there the parking lot is on the left side of the road. Staff are super nice, pay your fee and then wander the 5mins to the pools. You can also walk from here to sugar beach, but the road is very steep. We did it it was a good warm up for the hikes we had planned.
