Project Chocolat was a total highlight of our trip to St. Lucia! The "Tree to Bar" tour was fantastic and incredibly well-organized—they really know how to keep everything flowing smoothly without it feeling rushed. The absolute best part was getting hands-on and making our own chocolate bars from scratch; it’s such a unique experience that you won't forget. The location is beautiful, the staff is fun and knowledgeable, and the whole vibe of the estate is just great. If you are in Soufrière, this is a must-visit spot!

We called in here and had the most delicious food at their "street food" cafe. It's set up for chocolate-making tours but you can drive in for lunch (12-3) and try their innovative food made with a cacao twist. Vegetarians catered for too. You can also shop for chocolate-themed goodies, have a coffee or have a cocktail at the bar. The setting is lovely, surrounded by rainforest with pleasant open-air tables under cover. The staff were so helpful and friendly. A real quality experience and a highlight of our trip. You will need to get a taxi here or drive because it's a a long driveway into the complex off the main road and not walkable from Soufriere town.

We were staying at the Hotel Chocolat and booked on to do the tree-to-bean tour followed by the bean-to-bar chocolate-making experience. The first tour, with Tahj, was great. We started in the seedling house (where we were happily sheltered from a rain burst), we were offered umbrella and water before our walking tour around the grounds of the Rabot Estate. We learnt a lot, got to taste the pulp and bean of the cacao, and enjoy the views from Bois Nef. Then onto the chocolate making experience with Verenice. Verenice was an excellent instructor for chocolate-making, be warned it’s a good arm work out! But so fun and you end up with a delicious dark chocolate bar that you can sweeten to your likeness. To note you do have to wait for ~30 mins for your chocolate bar to be ready, you can visit the gift shop or street food-type place but it wasn’t included as part of the all inclusive package at the hotel so we didn’t.

Did the chocolate making and it was amazing, not to mention the food options on site were delicious! But for real: I normally can't stand dark chocolate - but I did this with my own effort and added raisins and sour orange peels to my bar and made the most amazing treat I've ever had. If you're going to Saint Lucia - make this a must do!

I didn’t do the tours so I can’t speak to that but I was able to drive in and walk around and see the area and shops. This is a very nice spot and a great place to get a drink and some ice cream. I did see people doing the tours and making chocolate bars and it looked very cool. The chocolate itself is also amazing.
