Waters were terrible for snorkeling. 10 minutes was probably the most that 2 people from our group remained in the rough waters. Then went to calmer waters where you could stand. That was much better. Not sure why we couldn't have just snorkeled there. We did get to hang out and have some beers and rum punch while in the water, that was fun. Not worth 80 bucks per person. Disappointed.

Had a great time in Bavaro Barcelo Palace in Punta Cana Dominican Republic. Beautiful hotel, the food was ok, not great.

Staff is friendly and explains everything. I went scuba diving and snorkelling. Their instructions were clear, answered all question and I felt safe.

Had fun with the catamaran. It would be easier to leave the shore if the launch area wasn't so close to the swimming area ropes.
