Ride Barbados
The Caribbean International Riding Centre (now Ride Barbados) was opened in 1986 by the Roachford family, in an effort to help promote the sport locally and encourage a wider participation.
Within the Scotland District National Park you’ll find the most picturesque scenery in Barbados and you’ll find us! On our own Barbadian Warmbloods, we trail the original Tropical Forest of Mahogany and Bearded Fig Trees, from which Barbados was given its name. Inhabited by the Green Monkey, hosting ponds with Oriental Lotus Flowers and Wild Ducks over hills with a mesmerizing view, of the East Point Light House, to the Morgan Lewis Mill.
Heading East through cart roads lined with Coconut Trees, the dominating thunder of The Atlantic Ocean increases its volume hoof by hoof. These are waters that may not invite swimming but transcends an overpowering sense of peace and physical exhilaration felt by both horses and riders. At Ride Barbados we do English riding only.

Had a fabulous private ride out with Kat and the gorgeous Mocka and Sunny highly recommend id you want to hear great history of the plantation and gallop on the beach...

Thank You Glynn for the fabulous horse back ride through the park and on the beach. The price was good for an hour and a half, which in the heat is more than enough. This guy is an animal lover and you can tell he ensures good welfare of his horses. We loved the fact his dogs came with us too, lovely dogs. What a fabulous way to see more of beautiful Barbados! We had a great experience and a terrific ride here! Our guide was great and the horses suited us well. One of us had some riding experience and the other had none - we both had a great time!

If was awesome ride very professional. He is a animal lover and he really takes good care of is horses like his babies the route was good and the knowledge he had is amazing..... Thanks again will be back
