I feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to do my open water dive certification with the team at Roger’s Scuba Shack. As someone who has been very nervous about it - Shanikah as my instructor was an absolute gem - installed confidence whilst making it so much fun and she is really a fantastic teacher. From beginning of the communication with Roger ahead of our trip to the days and qualification and the final dive where my family joined ( young teenager) on the discover scuba- we were in highly professional and safe hands. Breathing underwater is the most amazing thing I have ever done besides falling in love and getting married and I have been pretty much everywhere in the world with work and travel in the last 40 years. We would not go anywhere else for diving and further qualification- also for the kids who want to learn: Huge thanks to Shanikah and Roger and the team.

Finished my Open Dive Course at Roger’s Scuba Shack, and it was amazing! Shanikah is very knowledgeable, always ready to help, and shared her own experience and personal tips, which really made a difference.
I had some difficulties taking my mask off underwater, but with her guidance, I gained confidence and improved quickly. If you’re looking to learn diving, this is the place!

My partner and I completed our Advanced Open Water certifications here, and we had the most incredible experience. The dives were fantastic and expertly-led, with safety as priority but always lots of fun! We explored dive sites in the marine park, multiple wrecks and different reefs teeming with marine life.
A huge thank you to Roger and his team for a memorable time diving in Barbados.

Had a great time diving with Roger and his team!! He saved us after another shop canceled our trip last minute. His team was fun, professional, and very safe. Will dive with them any time I’m lucky enough to be back in Barbados!

Roger’s Scuba Shack was amazing and I’d highly recommend it for all things diving in Barbados. We did two courses, the Advanced Open Water course with Sean and the Enriched Air course with Shanika. Both of whom are amazing teachers and dive guides!
The facilities are great with a bar/restaurant on site. They have a good sized boat with space to move around and relax inbetween dives.
We saw a manta ray, sting rays, a sea horse, lots of stone fish, turtles, wrecks and lots more.
It’s also near the cruise dock and they offer pickup/drop off. So it’s a great place even if you’re only there for a day.
I highly recommend Roger’s for new and experienced divers alike!
