There were four people in our group ( but I think the room could hold 10 comfortably). As we entered the location, we were escorted to the room which is known as the rum vault. There were bottles displayed that had an array of rums from all over the world. Cory, our rum historian, mixologist and waiter proceeded to provide us with some history of the room and the starter pairs of mixed rum drinks and food that he was going to provide. The paper place mats provided the history of rum in Barbados, how it is made, which was something to review while he made our first rum cocktail.
The information provided by Cory was interesting. He was an exceptional host that is extremely knowledgeable about rum, spices and some of the great history of Barbados.
It was a fantastic evening. You do not feel rushed, he invited questions and it was an experience that enhances your what you know about rum and food pairing that you can go home and impress your friends with ginger ale, rum and a piece of orange, and not RUM and Coke! You will understand that reference if you make the trip to the Rum Vault!

This gave me speakeasy vibes.
Great cocktails and great food. This has been my best dining experience in Barbados for the past 2 year that i have been living here. I love the attention to detail. The simplicity, yet the complexity of the dishes offered.
A must try. Get a Max of 10 people you like and go try.

Amazing evening worth every penny.
It’s a must do! you are given a private dinner with rum cocktails paired with each course. And the rum flight at the end was a perfect end .
Cory Sobers gives an amazing talk on rums and the history of Barbados rum . His knowledge is incredible and is a wonderful host. One of the best evenings we have had while on the island.

Fantastic experience with Corey at the Rum Vault. The food and the pace of the evening was perfect. Learned a lot, and got to try some amazing and very special rums. Can't fault the evening and recommend it to anyone!

The Storied Rum Dinner was amazing. It was just one table and custom tailored to us (eight).
The mixed drinks and food pairings were wonderful and then rum and chocolate pairing was nice. It is well worth the money to do this experience.
The waiter was well knowledgeable and made it similar to taking a rum tour at a factory. You also have options to pay extra if you want to sample any other rare, expensive rums, if you still can handle more rum at that point.
