Pros: - Spacious home that came with a bathroom/shower in each of the rooms. - The overall cleanliness of the home was acceptable (with the exception of some visible stains in one of the showers). - Close access to shops, grocery store, outdoor food vendors, gas station. Cons: - Difficult to identify the location of the airbnb from the main street since the signage was not visible. - Challenging to park a large vehicle within the narrow entry of the driveway all the while avoiding contact with the automatic gate and any oncoming traffic as the entrance directly faces an intersection. - The multiple padlocks/keys to access the back porch are poorly identified. In case of an emergency, this can pose a major evacuation hazard. - AC usage is limited to the bedrooms only therefore, in the intense heat the home becomes increasingly hot during the day. - The beach directly behind the property is rather rocky and uninviting to actually swim in. - A cockroach had fallen on my chest during the middle of the night, which was not pleasant. All the windows in the home are screened therefore, the insect had to have made its way into the room through the floor boards.

Amazing location & beautiful beach with sea turtles swimming in front of the house every day! We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious house! Supermarkets and bus stops are just steps away, local bars are close to the house as well. Cleaning ladies are really nice and the recommended car rental company provided great service as well.

Seaforth home in Barbados was a big disappointment. The beach had been closed for months prior to our arrival due to a sewage leak, they failed to tell us. Being at the intersection meant great difficulty getting in and out, not to mention constant horn honking, they love to do that! Probably worst of all, somebody came in to the home while we were gone and removed money from a wallet. We always locked the home when we left, apparently there are keys in the wrong hands. We made our host aware of these issues and didn't even get an apology.

Bad: House is secured like a prison, with padlocks on the bars so it is a death trap in the event of a fire. Air conditioning in bedrooms only (including near-windowless cottage), and written threats of additional charges are made if you use A/C any time other than when sleeping, so be prepared to sweat it out in 89 degree (F) weather with high humidity. Traffic, horn-honking all night, vagrancy, and crime are all high in the area. Dated cabinets (some blocked by refrig) with tile countertops. Dull (to the point of uselessness) knives. Ad hoc mix of CFL, warm, and cool light bulbs. Missing splash guard on disposal, filthy microwave controls, old mostly-broken child locks on cabinet doors were a PITA. Grill added to fish cleaning table out back as an afterthought, with a platform to stand on to reach it. The beach had eroded away completely, with the water licking the back gate at high tide -- the photos of beach online were misleading. Good: The gardener is excellent. Furnishings were clean and matching. Paint is well-maintained. Wifi was solid and fast (though the multiple documentation of SSID and password were contradictory). There was free VOIP phone with the internet connection The cottage was a bonus for us, as one couple was able to move out there to get a reprieve from the near-24-hour horn honking. Sitting out back with sound of waves coming in, and the sea air was pleasant.

Great property for a family or large friend group. Conveniently located to nearby grocery stores & walkable distance to restaurants. Awesome beach right out back!
