Sheer Rocks is amazing location and as a party of 6 we had an excellent evening in the restaurant. We were greeted as we walked in and were seated in an excellent nook with a beautiful view of the ocean and sunset. Service was top notch and our food was delicious. Cocktails were great too. All around a very nice night.

Incredible from start to finish. Book the 6:30 block if you can to get the perfect sunset view. Kailyn was our server and took fantastic care of us, but the rest of the staff were great too as they dropped off food, drinks, and cleared plates. Drinks and food were awesome, we opted for the 3 course, and it was well worth it. Every bite was magnificent, we especially enjoyed the Cauliflower croquettes, tuna tartare, lobster ravioli, but lobster season was over so it was actually shrimp ravioli, pork chop, and crème brûlée. Whether you’re staying at Cocobay or another resort nearby, this is a must try in Antigua.

My wife worked with the staff via email in the months leading up to our cruise, and this was the only day we were scheduled for the island. We received confirmation of our reservation the day prior and so were comfortable walking up to the restaurant today. However upon arrival they went to seat us at a table when they had confirmed with us one of the cabana/plunge pool packages. After some back and forth with a very disgruntled hostess and management they informed us the package we had booked wasn’t available, and that there had been some miscommunication between their staff that led to this, but acted as though the whole thing was our fault. We went ahead with lunch anyway (we hadn’t schedule our taxi to come back to get us for 4 hours). They comped us our first drink by way of apology, but the staff was anything but welcoming the whole time. The food, which had such high reviews online, was mediocre. The only standout of the items we ordered was the pork belly, which admittedly was excellent. However the shrimp was mushy (not sure how you do that to shrimp), the truffle Mac and cheese was bland and the pasta wasn’t just Al dente, it was simply undercooked. The guacamole had no seasoning to speak of. The potatoes were nice and crispy, but nothing we couldn’t make at home. Since we couldn’t hang out at the pool as we expected we just walked down to the nearby public beach to enjoy the rest of our time until the taxi picked us up. Honestly we could have saved ourselves time and money and had our lunch and drinks on the ship for an equal or better experience.

Great food, drinks and sweet atmosphere. You can also reserve a private pool area with set menu which is super fun.

Spent a lovely relaxing afternoon here at Sheer Rocks. The views are amazing and the food was very good. The cocktails were also nice but slightly on the expensive side. The one main tip I can give is don’t blindly pay your bill without doing the conversion between XCD and USD! When we were leaving we were given an itemized bill that was correct and when they went to charge my card they said my total in was $240.00 USD. I thought it was kind of high but just let them charge it. Then I began to think about it some more and when I did the conversion on my phone it was only $154.00 USD! $86.00 USD less! They said they were sorry and cancelled the first transaction and then charged me the correct amount. Seemed kind of shady to me. But I would come back and I will make sure to verify the correct amount before paying.
