We spent almost 2 weeks here for our honeymoon. Our room was clean, spacious and well equipped with all the essentials needed for our stay - kettle, fridge, dining table, cutlery, etc. The location is excellent, just a short walk downhill to Oistins Fish Market, the beach, the shops and all other amenities. The traffic in the area is busy, but the rooms have good soundproofing. And last but not least, hosts Shane and Anthony (and their dog Jack) were always kind and attentive. Absolutely recommended if you come to Barbados!

I stayed at Shkyblue after missing a connecting flight and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. Hosts Shane and Anthony were warm and welcoming, and the accommodation was spacious, quiet, and as comfortable as my own home. The location is excellent- just a short five-minute walk to the beach, shops, and the lively Oistins market, with fresh fish, produce and a great nightlife. For breakfast the Surf Restaurant is a must try. What started as an unplanned stay has convinced me to return with my family for a longer visit... I highly recommend Shkyblue!

This is a great spot that probably gets overlooked. Great price for large rooms and balcony views. Five minute walk to the fish market and just a little further to some really good restaurants. Had a great experience all around!

Lovely place, Shane is very helpful with her suggestions. It's very close to the restaurants and the beach. I loved the free water in the fridge and the brush and dustpan in the room so that you can clean the sand you bring from the beach

Friend and I couldn't get on our standby flight home so booked this last minute. Very accommodating and flexible. Rooms are a little basic but clean. Place is in a great location overlooking Oistin Bay. 5 minutes walk to the market which is a must see at night.
