If you’re into wind sports there is no better place to sail other than Lac Bay. But staying at the beach resort is a five star experience. The hospitality is top-notch, rooms are clean and well appointed. The beach service in the cabanas is outstanding. The reef bar offers fantastic food and if you want the best fine dining experience of your life, do the on patio/in room, fine dining. It was the best fine dining experience we have ever had. We have stayed at this resort several times and love it.

It was amazing! The best Eggs Benedict I ever had at the most beautiful location. The cook Cor Jan Hoogerheide is just wonderful with a great hospitality, I can recommend it to anyone!

From the moment we arrived at Sorobon Beach Resort, we knew we had discovered something truly special. Nestled on the serene shores of Lac Bay, this hidden gem offers not just a stay—but an experience. Every detail, from the warm welcome to the everyday needs have been exceeded. Service here is exceptional. The staff goes above and beyond. They’re very attentive. Whether it was arranging a rental car, booking a massage, recommending dining options around town, accommodating a late checkout, or simply checking in to make sure everything was perfect, every team member was helpful. Our room was bright, breezy, and clean, it struck the perfect balance between laid-back island style and modern comfort. Absolutely beautiful views! With its shallow, turquoise waters and constant breeze, it’s a haven for windsurfers and nature lovers. Lastly, the food at Sorobon deserves a spotlight of its own. Every meal was a delight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We found the Reef Bar restaurant to be a top destination for great food. We tried many spots and this restaurant is solid. In every category—service, accommodations, scenery, and cuisine—Sorobon Beach Resort exceeded our expectations. Whether you’re seeking adventure, relaxation, or a little bit of both, this place delivers it with grace and authenticity. We’re already dreaming of our return. Highly recommended I have to update my review one year later… June 2026- we tried breakfast, lunch and dinner and were extremely disappointed. Nothing light or good on the menu. The quality of the food went down drastically. It was disappointing because last year we ate most meals at the hotel, but this year we went elsewhere and shopped and cooked because the food was inedible. Globs of mayo and cheese on everything…almost no chicken in the salad or the « chicken sandwich. I wanted to like it, but we all tried different dishes I. Three meals and we’re all disappointed. I hope they can get it together because it used to be top notch…. This time last year. Something is wrong with the bathrooms. A terrible smells épinards from the toilet or the shower drain or both. It’s frankly unbearable. Housekeeping does a good job. Staff is friendly and helpful. Nespresso coffee in the rooms is a nice touch. The little kitchen. Works well and you have all you need to cook a few meals and eat in the room if so you choose. The room needs a little wiping down around some walls and. Doors. The bed spread looks like it need to be replaced or washed. It’s time. Here is the highlight for me…. Johana the masseuse. She is THE BEST and the location of the massage in that little house by the water with open windows and the delightful sound of the wind, is the lost pleasant setting you can dream of. She is excellent in her te unique and such a professional. I enjoyed it. This is worth it.

Very nice but service was slow and it took almost an hour to get our food. Other than that. It was a great visit.
