The food was excellent, in particular the fillet steak. That was one of the many highlights of our evening. The staff were so friendly and the drinks were very delicious. They took quite long to arrive however. The new look is stunning. The pianist was the perfect accompaniment to our evening.

So glad I was able to get a last minute reservation, this was a spectacular experience. The best part was the waiting staff—TOP KNOTCH. Very lively and welcoming, made the experience so much fun. The views were AMAZING. I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate—lobster tails, sushi, linguine, Mahi Mahi, glazed cod, (this was my favorite, just melts in your mouth). Absolutely a must if you visit Barbados 🇧🇧

I recently dined at The Cliff in Barbados, and while the ambiance and service were exceptional, the food unfortunately did not meet my expectations for the price point. The setting is absolutely beautiful, creating a memorable dining experience, and our servers were wonderful—attentive, professional, and very knowledgeable about the menu. However, the food was disappointing. I ordered the lobster and orzo dish, which came with only four small pieces of lobster. The orzo was undercooked, somewhat hard, and lacked flavor. Considering the amount we paid for two people, I expected much better quality and portion sizes. Overall, The Cliff offers a stunning atmosphere and outstanding service, but the food did not justify the high prices($400 USD for 2 ppl). It's a lovely restaurant for the experience, but the value and execution of the dishes fell short.

We recently had my birthday meal at The Cliff. It was utterly sensational; the staff, service, views and food are all top, top class. Right up there with the finest dining experiences we have ever had. Thank you! We will be back. To visit Barbados and not dine at The Cliff would be a crime.

From the moment you arrive, The Cliff Restaurant delivers an atmosphere that is nothing short of spectacular. The design is breathtaking—modern, elegant, and thoughtfully curated. The illuminated wine cellar, the refined reception area, and the warm, artistic lighting throughout all contribute to an unforgettable visual experience. Dining beside the ocean elevates everything even further. The gentle sound of waves paired with soft ambient lighting creates a setting that feels both intimate and luxurious. This is easily a 10/10 ambiance—one of the best you’ll find anywhere. The staff truly enhance the experience. From greeting to departure, everyone is friendly, courteous, and genuinely pleasant. There’s a natural warmth in their interactions—always smiling, attentive, and respectful without being overbearing. It’s the kind of service that makes you feel valued and comfortable throughout your visit. Another clear 10/10. Where the experience dips slightly is the food. Drinks: Acceptable, though small details (like presentation—e.g., a straw in the drink) felt slightly out of place for such a high-end setting. Main Course: The ingredients are clearly of high quality, and the dishes are well-prepared. However, the execution lacks the same level of creativity and refinement seen in the ambiance. Plating is satisfactory but not as visually striking as expected. Desserts: Unfortunately, the desserts were somewhat mediocre, lacking the wow factor to end the meal on a high note. Overall, the kitchen shows strong potential. With just a bit more attention to detail, creativity, and presentation, this could easily become a 10/10 culinary experience. For now, the food sits at a solid 7/10. Even with the food not fully matching the level of the surroundings, the experience is still highly worthwhile. With a bit more refinement in the kitchen, The Cliff could easily stand among the very best dining destinations.
