Nice quiet area in St. Lawrence Gap, rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed daily, pool was nice. Overall really good place to stay. Beach, minimart and restaurants near by.

Great sensibly priced place to stay in the quieter end of St. Lawrence Gap near to several restaurants and bars in walking distance. Staff friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and lovely clean pool. Across the road is a quiet beach where you can spot turtles slowly swimming by. Kitchen fully equipped. Only thing missing in the studio apartment is a full length mirror. Plenty of space in the apartment to put one. Will be back

Room was clean and spacious enough for quarantine. Staff was friendly. One night, the security guard was able to assist us in the absence of reception who had already left for the evening. Tour guide/taxi driver, Dale was AMAZING and full of very useful info. He made the entire complicated process of getting tested etc completely worry free. Kitchen was decently equipped --we cooked pretty much every day. Telephone, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, 4 burner electric cooker with oven, fridge, cable TV, AC, hot/cold water --though shower is noticeably tiny (and I'm petite). Our queen bed was just 2 singles pushed together but we slept fine. There's a nice Jamaican restaurant, a bakery and mini supermarket all within 3 minutes walk from the apartment door. Ordering take out was very easy & reception brought our deliveries to our door and acted as liaison where necessary. One thing I really didn't like is that our apartment was separated from a neighboring one by a single, unassuming door near the bathroom. I forgot to get a photo but it did not feel secure at all. There was one tiny latch to lock it from our side and it wasn't sound proof either. Thankfully we didn't hear much activity from our neighbors during our stay.

Stayed here for a total of three nights, four days. The place was very clean and comfortable for my short stay. The workers at the hotel were very accommodating, helpful and also funny. It was one block from the beach. Food and entertainment was abound. I would definitely stay here again in the future. The fact that it contains a complete kitchen and utensils would make for a very convenient stay. While I was there I observed several other guests enjoyed the early morning coffee and paper on their balconies and patios. Shout out to Junette who took care of my housekeeping.

We stumbled across the Monteray when we were desperate to escape a terrible Airbnb situation (no running water!) and they moved things around to accommodate us for the rest of our stay, for which we will always be grateful! The rooms are spacious and clean and have everything you need, the staff are fantastic and the location is perfect. Oh and there's a pool. What more do you need? Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.
