Great place to have breakfast to start your day. The restaurant is set in a beautiful area so I would suggest sitting outside and taking in the quaint view. The food is delicious and the portions are healthy.

The Park Cafe
My name is Erica. I had to share about the exemplary service from one of your staff, Brandon. From the time we arrived, he was just a breath of fresh air.
Brandon made sure we were comfortable.
When Brandon heard that it was a birthday celebration, he got excited and told us thanks for letting him know.
He listened carefully to what we requested. That smile never once left his face. I love customer service, so I know what to look for and what to expect. So when i do receive it, i have to highlight it. Even my dad and sister felt so relaxed with his presence.
In light banter, we got to find out that Brandon is also a January born as well.
Brandon surprised us with ice cream and sang the happy birthday song, lol.
It was not only us that felt his warm and inviting presence. When i looked around i could see other persons calling his name and saying farewell.
Brandon, keep up the great service. Don't change you.
The Park is better with you present .
Beautiful place by the way. That was my first time.

What a hidden gem! Wasn’t expecting to find a place this nice on the south coast. Had been looking for a place to have a proper breakfast for awhile and was introduced to the Park Cafe. I’m glad I decided to come in! I started with the Greek yoghurt parfait and had an omelette with toast. The omelette was perfectly cooked. Not overly done and tough. Coffee was super! Served nice and hot. The passion lemon juice was also equally as tasty. Everything from the food to service with a smile was excellent. Definitely recommend coming here. Special shout out to Jeus, from the Dominican Republic for his menu recommendations and friendly and polite service. Always nice to feel appreciated and thanked for coming in.

Overall.... disappointing. We were celebrating a birthday. We didn't book ahead and space was limited. We were assigned an outside table. The waitress seemed to be having a bad day or didn't take a liking to us. She was quite miserable with minimal customer service skills. Drinks orders were asked to be brought with our meals and were forgotten. We ended up reaching out to two servers and were forgotten by both. The food is really expensive. We had variations of the "full English". One slice of toast. And 1 sausage OR ration of bacon. Honestly
.. this wasn't the worst place I've ever visited but it's the type of place where you swear to yourself that they're not getting your money again. We paid for extras. No complaints about the actual taste of the food. This wasn't my first time.
.. but it will very likely be my last. (For the record: the first time was much better service... not sure if the prices were any / much lower at the time). The portions are not overly generous and definitely not worth my hard earned cash. Maybe the service tainted my visit but If you're going to charge me "extortionate" prices for average portions.... at least do it with a smile!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at The Park Cafe. On our first visit, Kyle was our server and provided outstanding service - he was friendly, professional, and created a great atmosphere. Combined with beautifully presented and delicious food, it made for a memorable meal. The outdoor seating was peaceful and scenic, adding to the charm. We enjoyed the plantain chips, blueberry pancakes, chicken and waffles, quesadillas, and beef samosas - all highly recommended.
Our positive first experience prompted us to return before the end of our trip. Unfortunately, the second visit didn’t live up to the first. Kyle wasn’t working, and the service we received from the young male and female staff on duty was disappointing. We weren’t greeted upon arrival, no one smiled, and we had to ask for our dirty table to be cleaned when it was obviously not cleaned. Service was noticeably slow. After placing our order, we were told there was no chicken, then later no vegetarian option, and finally settled on the beef samosas - without any apology for the inconvenience. Unlike our first visit, our food was not served together, and it took nearly an hour for everything to arrive. The staff that day seemed disengaged, inattentive, rude and didn't check in and avoided eye contact. We had to call out to get their attention multiple times. My Husband added on the reservation that we were celebrating my birthday and nothing special was offered, however the tables near us were brought out a cake slice with sparklers and sang to.
Despite the poor service on our second visit, the food remained consistent, and Kyle is truly a valuable asset to the team. I would of rated the service a 5 star rating for our first visit and a 1 star for our second visit, hence why I've gone for 3 star rating. Our disappointing service was on 5th May.
