This was a slice of heaven. From Karen and Andre the owners to Simon, Tracy, and Thomas the staff, they made our stay feel like home. The hotel is located right on their own private white sand beach with lounge chairs, it’s not a huge space, but it’s just right for privacy and quiet. The hotel is renovated with modern and sleek flooring and furniture. Andre and Karen’s exquisite taste in decor definitely comes through with their attention to every detail. We had one of the best views as our two bedroom two bath apartment (full kitchen and living room) faced the ocean. We also had two private balconies. Location was walkable to anywhere: the market (Massey grocers), food trucks, restaurants (in the gap) etc. We had a rental but barely used it. I can’t say enough about this apartment/hotel! 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Our stay at The Royal Bliss Barbados was truly unforgettable! What started as a one-week post-Christmas getaway turned into two amazing weeks because of travel restrictions, and we’re honestly so glad it did. This boutique hotel is a true Caribbean treasure. The location is hands down one of the best on the island, right on Worthing Beach with beautiful water, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and local spots, and close enough to everything you want to explore. The rooms were beautiful, modern, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The entire property has such a warm, relaxed vibe that makes you feel like you’re in your own little piece of paradise. But what truly sets the Royal Bliss apart are the people. From the moment we arrived, Karen and Andre made us feel like family, always welcoming, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure our stay was perfect. Their manager Simon was equally exceptional in every way. Their hospitality wasn’t just professional, it was personal. By the end of our trip, we felt like part of the Royal Bliss family. ❤️ We had the best time, and can’t wait to come back. If you’re planning a visit to Barbados, do yourself a favor and stay here, you won’t regret it!

This boutique hotel is perfectly located, and comes complete with everything you could need for a great holiday. The hosts and staff are all charming, and the attention to detail is impressive: this is accommodation of a very high quality, and you will be made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive. It’s a short taxi ride from the airport (we flew direct from Dublin with Aer Lingus), and once there it is very easy to get around with the blue and yellow buses and a never-ending stream of white minibuses. We had a studio with a side view of the sea. It looks exactly like the pictures and is very well equipped (there are many more amenities than those listed), as well as being pristine - the entire hotel is very well maintained, and feels fresh, clean and airy. We made breakfast in the kitchenette, and then ate out later in the day (masses of choice, prices similar to home). The large outdoor terrace downstairs facing the beach is a great place to sit and read or eat, or watch the world go by. There are sun loungers and towels for guests, and the property is right on the beach, with welcome sea breezes (no mosquitoes), lots of shade, and clean sea with safe swimming. There is an airy lounge too with lots of comfortable seats (and Sky Sports!) Honestly, if I were to design my perfect holiday stay myself, I couldn’t have done better. Quiet at night, comfortable beds, like-minded guests, all very relaxing. This would suit solo travellers as well as couples: it feels very safe, and the owners live on site too. I went running around the Gap and also towards the boardwalk where there are much bigger hotels and all-inclusive resorts, and while they looked grand, the refined elegance of the Royal Bliss Barbados was a much more attractive proposition, and there is plenty to explore in the area so you are meeting locals all the time. Some tips: if you are coeliac, Clifton Market and Massy have lots of GF bread etc in the freezers. If you are dining out, ask for no flour and you should have no issues. La Baguette bakery opposite Massy makes GF loaves at the weekend (pre-order). Also in the carpark for La Baguette there is a charity book sale most Tuesdays: an animal rescue centre gets boxes of books left behind on the cruise ships and sells them for $5 (£2). It was as well stocked as any airport bookshop! There is a whipped ice cream shop at the top of the street, just after the Barber Shop/ Jamaican bar (good Jamaican food served there too, just sit around the corner from the sound system which is massive). Chef Vong has great frozen yogurt and watermelon jam (a first for me), and very fine sorrel. Worthing Square is great. We ate very well in Uncle George’s Oistins twice (skipped Friday as the queues are legendary, apparently) - safe for coeliacs, great whole snapper. The Seafood Shack and Islandlife salads also worth a mention.

Wonderful place to stay with family. Beautiful beach right at the from and Beautiful views from your balcony. Great location and close proximity to many local shops and food places. Rooms are spacious and having a kitchenette is a big plus. We stayed in two bedrooms that has two separate bathrooms which really helpful for big family. Fridge, microwave, coffe maker and utensils. Great customer service from Owner/ front desk lady. Very helpful and always asked that if we need anything. Area feels so safe even at night. Plenty of parking space in hotel parking Lot which is just next to it.

We spent the last week of November at the Royal Bliss and our stay was absolutely fantastic. The hotel itself is pretty much like new inside with modern design and decor and high end finishes like the floors, furniture and restrooms. It's very clean, spacious and inviting. The hosts/owners (Karen and Andre, who live on site) have spent a lot of time and effort renovating this hotel and the love and sweat equity is definitely reflected in the end result. Karen and Andre are super friendly and welcoming. They did everything they could every day to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The same can be said for Simon, the general manager, who is just a sweetheart and the perfect personality to run high quality hospitality operation. The hotel location is perfect as well. You are right on the water, where the beach is absolutely gorgeous and water is perfect for swimming, snorkeling or just floating and bobbing in the waves. A true caribbean vibe. We loved spending our vacation there and enjoyed everything about it. We can't wait to go back.
