Don't be put off by the exterior or the interior, which has subdued lighting.
Upon entering we were greeted immediately and asked whether we wanted to sit in or out. We opted for outside which is in a courtyard at the side of the building.
We ordered drinks which arrived promptly and then ordered the food, a selection of 4 starters to share.
Fish bites, chicken straps, sliders and bruschetta.
These appeared in 5 minutes and were fantastic.
I put 5 stars for atmosphere as we prefer a quieter more relaxed dining experience.

The food was tasty, but the wait times were awful. I waited 30 minutes for a cocktail, another 20 minutes for a bottle of wine, and over an hour for the food. Don't come here if you're hungry and expect quick service.
The service was poor as well, the staff didn't seem welcoming or interested in customers.

Best food we had out here (steak & ribs), staff were friendly, really nice cocktails. The location lets this place down, looks shut from outside, and lots of other restaurants in the area right on the beach.

We love this place and have returned numerous times over the Christmas period - two years running. The food is amazing - and we think it’s among some of the best value/high-quality food available. It obviously can’t compete with beachside locations and sunset views, but the food really is better than you’ll get at almost all such venues. The drinks and cocktails are also very high quality with fantastic bar staff. We did have some service issues tonight, but that was due to high demand and an issue with a brand new waitress. What’s important is how those issues are dealt with - and the owner dealt with the issue absolutely impeccably (thank you). I can’t recommend this place highly enough for amazing food, great value - and as a family business that wants to deliver the highest quality food and service. Inside is low-lighting and intimate with a great bar. Outside is also a nice, cosy and relaxed place to eat. We will return and I highly recommend you give this a go. Love the black barrel rum sours (among THE best), and the steak sliders and blackened catch of the day with garlic mash are both outstanding.

The staff was incredibly friendly, and the live music, featuring a guitarist/singer added to the great atmosphere. The drinks and food were among the best in the area. While we did wait about 1.5 hours for our food, it was absolutely worth it. We sat inside, where drink service was fast, though the food took longer. If you’re not in a rush, this is definitely one of the best spots in Barbados for a great dining and drinking experience.
