The 6th floor is spacious and reasonably well appointed. Coffee is the room would have been lovely.
The soft product needs a lot of work. Based on past reviews, things may not change but I will receive a sweet thank you for sharing. For examples:
1) Gym is closed after 12 on Saturday and all day Sunday. They are also charge per day per person to use.
2) Long lines for breakfast. Not enough staff, so many tables not open.
3) Beach crew did nothing to prevent non-guests from occupying beach loungers. Annoying on a busy day.
4) Information on location for activities was often wrong. My wife missed 1/2 an exercise class because the location given to meet was incorrect.
Location is fine if one wishes to not drive. Plenty of restaurants within a 15 minute walk.

Lovely hotel. We visited with 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and loved every moment. The rooms are spacious and clean. The balcony is fabulous, with some of the best views over the bay. The kitchen has everything you need including a big refrigerator. We loved the hotel pool with the pool bar. And we loved that you are able to jump into the sea next to the pool.
Would recommend visiting!

Cons
-Room is dated.
-Bugs in our room caused us to have to change rooms. Front desk guy said they were sugar bugs. They were all over the bed and nightstands.

First time in St. Maarten and won't be the last. Top 5 great experience. Didn't realize it was Carnival when I arrived. Hotel provided transportation to the parade. When I get home going to book same time next year.

Great view of the Harbour. Convenient location. Within walking distance of many bars and great restaurants. Only thing I didnt like was the crazy speed bumps in the parking lot.
