Trinity Falls

A challenging 5 mile hike where we had to cross the river 15 times to get there. But the terrain is beautiful. Use caution! This hike can be dangerous in the rainy season when unexpected flash floods can happen at any time.

After a 1.5-hour (one way) hike through the old lava flow, it was impossible to reach the waterfall due to recent landslides. Yet we had a guide who had already mapped out the route. The landscape is still magnificent and very unique. It's a shame the waterfall wasn't accessible!
