Fabulous stay at Turtles Hideaway. We were lucky enough to meet Ashli, the host, very friendly and excellent fast coms via WhatsApp.We have already booked again for next year. Directly opposite Baia, the balcony was great for people watching those visiting the restaurant. We dined there for valentine’s and the food was excellent but quite expensive. Husband said the ribeye was the best he’s had. Best fish cutters in caboose 2 minutes walk. But only open Wednesday-Sunday and best to get there as it opens at 11am before the queues form. The apartment is fabulously well equipped for everything from beach chairs and umbrellas and even quality toiletries. You could cook a full roast if inclined in the large kitchen diner. It has a washing machine and basically is a home from home. It is very clean with beautiful furniture, excellent WiFi and even Netflix. No more than 5 mins walk to Jordan’s supermarket and the bakery. Fabulous restaurants and bars all within 5 mins. Speightstown bus station 5 mins up the road. We actually got the bus from the airport this year for 3.50 bbds each as we only had hand luggage and luckily the traffic was minimal. The bus takes you on the coastal route rather than the boring highway.Parking is available but we didn’t get a car till our 2nd week when we moved to Gibbs.Beach literally across the road but we tended to go to Heywoods to sit in the shade of the trees just opposite caboose. Easy walk to pier one for fabulous sangria, about 15 mins stroll along the main road, all in all thoroughly enjoyed everything and looking forward to returning next year, thanks for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment Ashli xxx
