Extremely disappointing experience — would not recommend. I took my 6-year-old daughter to Urgent Care Barbados after a car accident. The EMTs on the scene were concerned about a possible deformity or fracture in her left hand. When we arrived, her hand was visibly swollen and numb. The male nurse who first attended to her was excellent — very professional, thorough, and compassionate. He assessed her hand carefully and even tested her response to touch to check for nerve issues. He deserves full credit for doing his job properly. Then we were transferred to Dr. Robinson, and that’s where things went downhill. He did not perform a full examination — which, in my opinion, is unacceptable for a 6-year-old involved in a car accident. Instead, he made a small “sticking” motion with a needle on her hand while she was watching, even though she was already afraid of needles. Obviously being afraid of needles she's going to say she can feel it thinking he'd stick harder, and the nurse even reminded him to be considerate of her age — thank goodness for that nurse’s empathy. Dr. Robinson said he didn’t think an X-ray was necessary because “she’s still moving it,” but left it up to me to decide. Of course, I insisted on one, knowing I'd have to follow up with another Doctor. . After the X-ray was done, we waited over two and a half hours to get any feedback, all while her hand continued to swell. I had to approach the reception staff multiple times to ask for updates. The receptionist was polite and tried her best to help, but Dr. Robinson seemed in no hurry. When he finally came back, he casually said there was “no fracture” and to “just ice it.” We went home, and her hand was severely swollen — she was now crying in pain. I had to take her back later, where we saw Dr. Drakes, who apologized for our earlier experience. She examined my daughter hands and said a cast would normally be required, but due to an allergic reaction to the bandage, we would need to treat the reaction first. Still, my daughter was in pain and no real treatment was provided only NOW prescribing pain meds. I contacted her private pediatrician throughout the entire process, who reviewed the same X-rays and sent them to an orthopedic surgeon. The specialist immediately requested for us to come into her office. She confirmed Growth Plate injuries and a fracture. USING THE SAME X-RAY from URGENT CARE. To make matters worse, when I returned to Urgent Care to have a police medical report filled out, I waited two hours, was told to return around 12:30 p.m., I returned at 12:30pm and then waited two more hours — just to get a form completed. Overall, the front desk staff and nurses are professional and kind, but the medical service itself is frustrating, careless, and disappointing. I genuinely expected more from a private medical facility. This experience left me questioning the quality of care and whether people well-being is truly prioritized here.

Mixed experiences - if you go in the dead of night or when it’s empty service is pretty prompt. Outside of that you’re just paying lots for an experience no better or faster than the free polyclinics. Some of the doctors are pleasant some are quite rude. The nurses have been generally pleasant. But if you’re visiting during the day forget about anything called urgent - and when overwhelmed all the staff are pretty rude/dismissive. One definitely feels neglected/forgotten once they have a few patients. Not really worth it tbh

Had an ultrasound done on my knee, that I had dislocated a few tines, this afternoon by Dr. Sonal. She was very thorough and explained everything. I didn't know beforehand that joint ultrasounds were done, if I had known years ago when the first dislocation had happened I think I would be in a better state with my knee. She was able to show me exactly what is wrong with my knee by showing a side by side comparison with my good knee to show what things should look like versus what they currently look like with my bad knee.

The staff here can be hit or miss. I came in on a Sunday with a ruptured Achilles, and everything went smoothly. They scheduled me for an ultrasound the next day. When I arrived, I was sent to the back, but the receptionist wouldn’t acknowledge me. After waiting 10 minutes, I let her know I had a flight to catch, but nothing changed. After 30 minutes of no updates, I had no choice but to leave, fearing I’d miss my flight.
