Shopping at Urville Supermarket is always a joyful experience—it’s truly my favourite place to shop in Mandeville. The store is spacious, well-organized, and offers reasonable prices. From the security guards at the entrance to the cashiers at checkout, the customer service is consistently friendly and efficient.
One of the things I love most is the gospel music playing through the speakers. It creates a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to return again and again. The owners, though Chinese, seem to treat their Jamaican staff with genuine respect. The low staff turnover speaks volumes, and they always appear approachable and affable.
The supermarket offers an impressive variety of commodities. It’s always clean, with no unpleasant smells, and I’ve rarely encountered any rude behaviour from staff. I especially trust their meat shop—I’ve never purchased bad meat there. Their produce is usually competitively priced, and I appreciate the flexible retail packaging that allows even those on a tighter budget to shop with dignity.
The cashier lines generally move quickly, and everything about the store reflects strong, thoughtful management. Whenever I’m in Mandeville, Urville Supermarket is my one-stop shop.

No matter how many supermarkets open in Mandeville, Urvills will always be the best. Staff is nice, the recent upgrade does justice.
Only thing keeping them from retaining every single customer is a reward system.
Overall its the most pleasant to shop in the entire town.

One thing I love about Urvills is their representation of their faith in God. It's written on the walls as you enter into the building, no wonder their supermarket is always packed. Nevertheless, they also have great customer service. That is from even the workers outside, to those packing your groceries.
