We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Uva. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Our server, Joseph, was outstanding—professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire evening. His service elevated an already fantastic meal and made us feel truly well taken care of. Every dish was beautifully presented, perfectly portioned, and absolutely delicious. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every course hits the mark, but UVA managed to do exactly that. The flavors were exceptional, the ingredients were clearly high quality, and the attention to detail was evident in every plate. Between the incredible food, warm atmosphere, and Joseph’s impeccable service, this restaurant is now at the top of our favourites list. We would happily return and highly recommend Uva to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. Thank you to Joseph and the entire team for a fantastic evening!

My pictures won’t do this restaurant justice at all. My husband and I live in New York City and are big foodies. We’ve dined at who knows how many Michelin starred restaurants. But this place easily had one of the top three meals we’ve had anywhere. The flavors and textures of the food are unreal, creative flavor combinations that were divine in execution. Our server Tyrique was friendly and just the right kind of attentive. The ambience here is lovely. Tons of substantial, imaginative vegan options too (not the sad go-to ‘cauliflower steak’). I wish I could dine here all the time. If only the chef considered opening a New York location…

Dinner sized prices with tapas sized portions. They warn this on the menu but maybe understate it. The food was good and the staff were great but I left Uva feeling cheap and seriously walked 5 minutes to Chaffee to get an after dinner roti to stop the hunger. Flying fish was good. The octopus itself was great but the pea mush it was on had skinned over like it was plated an hour in advance. The chicken was probably the most I’ve ever paid for chicken per bite in the history of time. There was basically 1/2-1 thigh cut in to 6 small cubes and skewered. Tasted good but for the price it really left me wanting. The carrots were great even if the cook on them was let’s say uneven. Some soft, some charred, some still pretty crunchy. The affogato was the best part of the meal

Let me first say that UVA Barbados is a whole vibe!!! From the ambiance to the service, everything was absolutely amazing. We actually arrived almost an hour early for our reservation because I completely misjudged the traffic, and we were so grateful that they were still able to accommodate and seat us. Joseph was our server, and he truly made the experience exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave detailed recommendations for both the food and drink selections. Every recommendation was spot on. Everything was a 10/10! What really stood out was how welcoming and attentive the staff was. The manager, Janelle, came over personally to check in and make sure our night was going well, which made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. You can absolutely see why the restaurant is thriving under her leadership. Joseph made our night so enjoyable, and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend UVA Barbados if you’re looking for great food, amazing drinks, and an unforgettable atmosphere!

We live in a London so have plenty of great dining options. However, this place is special. The setting is modern, cool, and comfortable. The service is prompt and friendly. Drinks are well designed, mixed, and presented (shout out to Jamal - our mixologist!). The food (tapas style with a carribean twist) was exceptional: there are few places in the world that offer such a thoughtful vegan menu. Beautifully presented and delicious across all plates and courses. We wanted to thank the chef personally but he was too busy preparing food for a packed restaurant on a Monday (no surprises).
