Westshore Beach House - Barbados Villa Vacation Rental

Party of 7 travelled in August. DO NOT TAKE - The fast track option - it is a total waste of money. We paid for 5 persons and the agent showed up with a sign after we collected our luggage, then walk us to the machines to fill out our forms. After we then went to follow her out when we were pulled over and had to inspect every single one of our Luggages. This was very time consuming and embarrassing. There was no point of anyone standing with a sign for us. There is no line to by pass – the only line was to Check all our luggages. We arranged our own transportation, when we got to the villa, we were met with the concierge – after which we could not get her and she showed Up the day of the departure. At the villa we met the cook/housekeeper – The property is a beautiful one BUT the property was totally filthy. I specifically asked if it would be clean and you reassured me as I have older parents and my family do suffer with allergies. The sheets were dirty/dinched – there were hair strands in almost everyone of the beds, the place had dust, one of the Toilets had urine and was not flushed. We were very upset and disappointed and I called both concierge with no answer of course and I got the housekeeper who came Back and changed the sheets. I pointed out the sink area which was dusty and when she removed the sheets to change them the mattress had blood. There was also sighting of *bed bugs* in the upper front room with hair also in between the sheets. There were multiple bugs in the couches outside and spiders, proving the property was clearly not cleaned. Two roaches were also sighted upstairs and needed to be killed. Both members of our parties upstairs had asthma concerns and having this amount of dust/roaches allergens was intolerable to their asthma/resulting in flares. I will be attaching any necessary photos needed since photos were taken. Again, for the quality/advertising/cost of this property, we expected a completely different experience.When we pay a lot of money for luxury villa – we expect it to be of a certain standard for the mere least CLEAN!. Linda was very nice and willing to fix things but we tolerated the situation as we had our elderly parents there. The icing on top of the cake was when we asked for a late check out which was at 2 pm instead of 12 noon we were quoted approximately over $600. We were not granted any courtesies although you knew we had issues. I have contacted them regarding my issues and they are still looking into to it - to date! PLEASE BE VERY CLEAR AND CHECK YOUR ROOMS UPON ARRIVAL

Perfect residence located on a beautiful beach. Have enjoyed the holiday there 2014 very much.
