What a beautiful sandy beach! Fringed by palm trees and served by little beach bars. Such a shame it is being dominated now by The Sands hotel. They have commandeered the beach in front of the building with their beds and umbrellas, squeezing locals and other visitors into a tiny cove next door. Independent sunbed hirers have little space to operate and there are fewer customers for the local bars. Some of the charm has been lost and, like the turtles that have now disappeared from the beach, we won't be back.
