Amazing artwork! Definitely must make time and stop at Yaucromatic. Phenomenal what they did to the area! Most buildings in the plaza area are still in amazing shape. Had one of the best coffees there too. The church looked beautiful! Proud to have been born in Yauco. Visited for my 40th bday celebration and will plan to come back more frequently. Praying it continues to grow and prosper. 💕

First time here with my Girlfriend and it was amazing. The altitude was crazy but the journey was awesome. At the end of the day we grabbed some food down the street at a pizza bakery the food was delicious. Highly recommend this side of the island.

We made a special trip to Yauco during our recent visit to Puerto Rico, and we're glad we did. The artwork itself is stunning. The vibrant colors, bold shapes, and murals woven throughout the neighborhood create an experience that feels both artistic and deeply personal. One of the most memorable parts of our visit was being accompanied by two small dogs who seemed to join us for the entire walk. They were friendly yet independent, quietly leading us without demanding attention. We jokingly considered them our tour guides, and once our journey was over, they simply went their separate ways. Their presence made an already enjoyable experience even more memorable. At the same time, it's impossible to ignore the challenges facing the town. While the main square and several nearby restaurants appear well maintained and cared for, much of the artwork is scattered throughout areas that seem to have never fully recovered from Hurricane Maria. Many buildings remain in disrepair, and signs of economic hardship are visible throughout the community. Along the route, you'll encounter a significant amount of rubble, abandoned structures, litter, and stray animals. Although no one approached us or made us feel directly unwelcome, there were moments when we felt somewhat out of place and, at times, a little uneasy. The art walk itself can also be physically demanding. The steep hills and occasionally deteriorated walkways require some effort and caution. Beyond the murals, there isn't a great deal to encourage visitors to spend an extended amount of time exploring the town or supporting local businesses. If you're spending a significant amount of time in Puerto Rico and enjoy discovering places that are off the beaten path, Yauco's urban art scene is certainly worth experiencing for yourself. However, for many travelers, the photos and videos available online provide a fairly accurate representation of what you'll find in person.

The most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Went on Monday morning and the art installations had practically no people around. The local folks are lovely. Everything we saw was exactly like the photos if not better in person. Genuinely almost cried. This place will forever have a place in my heart.

Beautiful art. Must see architecture. The colors were vibrant and unique. Definitely a must see town.
