The view is simply... serene. The waves just pour relaxation into you. The view alone is worth the drive. I arrived too late to order food but the fresh guava and five-finger juice were refreshing. The service was courteous, helpful and informative, leaving an excellent impression during a short time. Even going as far as to pause closing to encourage our return and explain the menu. Apparently, it is so busy on weekends making reservations is recommended. I will definitely return to try the menu which changes every month and had the most variety I've seen on the island. *I'll add the November "Independence" Menu for reference.

Zemi is a lovely restaurant on the east coast of Barbados, with fantastic views and ambiance. Our waiter was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The local twist on their cocktails was surprisingly good and I highly recommend that you try them. There is something on the menu for all taste buds. There are kiosks nearby that sell locally made clothing and accessories.

The location was beautiful, the food was amazing and the service for the most part was great. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if it wasn't for the fact that if you go with kids they aren't appropriately equipped with high chairs. We reserved a table and requested a high chair for my 2 year old, which we received. My husband went for a walk with her between our appetizers and entree when a server came to our table and asked me to give up my high chair before the end of our service to another table because they asked for it to be removed from our table and taken to theirs. Of course I said no, where was my kid to sit, but I would be lying if I said I wasn't appalled at the request. How tacky to be asked such a question as the follow up would be, when she returns is she to sit on the floor? I won't lie, even with the great food and atmosphere I will always think of this place where patrons are sharing high chairs mid service.

Great view out over the sea. The service was outstanding, from walking in to leaving. Had the wantons and honey chicken sandwich, bring some wet wipes as it gets messy, you’ll be licking your fingers

Went here for lunch with my partner. About loved it. The atmosphere, food, service and the view..oh my the view absolutely fantastic. The young man who served us was really pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend if you're in Barbados looking for a great place to eat. Compliments to the chef Steffie.
