This was our 5th trip to Barbados, but my brother and sisters (with spouses) first experience. Don and I had booked a tour with Kate last year and learned more about their beautiful island in one afternoon than we did on our previous 3 trips. We booked A Plus Tours again this year, only this time, Cleston was our guide. He did not disappoint either. He had a great sense of humour, which my crew appreciated and enjoyed and was so forthright in sharing the fascinating Barbadian culture with us. The 6 of us all felt they were a “Top Drawer” tour company and would not hesitate to call on them next year, maybe for a different tour.

While the guides were friendly and informative, at the beginning of the tour we asked for a short stop at St. John's parish church (which is normally a part of many Barnados tours) and instead got a long stop for a sit down expensive lunch we never asked for.
The reason for not going the extra 8 miles to St John's parish provided during the tour was that the road was closed but following the tour that we had just run out of time. Unfortunately this ruined an otherwise wonderful day and what could have been a great tour of Barbados.

If you want the normal hum drum tour experience, DO NOT book with Cleston Adams who runs A Plus Tours. If you really want a good experience you know what to do.
This was our first time to Barbados and we booked Cleston to take us to St Nicholas Abbey and Railway.
We learnt more about Barbados in the few hours we spent with him than the rest of the holiday put together which included a previous tour with someone else. Honest and with a great sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble.

Kate was amazing on our trip. She was very knowledgable, friendly, and flexible which allowed us to spend time most where we were really enjoying. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip, we had a great morning/afternoon exploring allll around the island of Barbados!

Kate was our island tour guide and was very knowledgeable about the island, helping us understand the history of the island while seeing some beautiful sites around Barbados. I highly recommend.
