It would be remiss of me if I did not take the time to write this review. I am 60 and have been going to dentists since I was a child. This has hands down been the best dentist experience I have ever had!!!!!!!! I recently moved to Barbados and found Dr. Karen Jonas and Always Dental Care Services online and decided to call them based on a glowing review left by a satisfied patient. They were able to fit me in for a consultation to assess the problem and make plans for me to deal with it after taking a course of antibiotics. My second visit was even better. Dr: Jonas deserves The Best Dentist Award. She was gentle to the point that you did not even feel her hands in your mouth, she explained everything as she went along and encouraged you by affirming how well you were doing throughout the procedure. I had an extraction done and the procedure was effortless and painless - I have had extractions done before which were traumatic due to the inability of the dentists to pull my teeth and where so much anesthetic had to be used - that it was injection, after injection, after injection. I did not feel the two injections that Dr. Jonas administered, which she took the time to massage into the area to ensure total coverage and numbness. The staff are very courteous and for the service you receive the price was more than worth it and very reasonable. LOOKING FOR A DENTIST? Dr. Karen Jonas is the best.

On 3/5/24 we were on the 5th day of a 10-day cruise celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary when, while flossing my teeth, a front tooth permanent crown fell out. To say I was beside myself is an understatement I was devastated so first thing the next morning we went to the Concierge on the Celebrity Beyond who gave us a list of Dentists albeit a very short list, I picked Dr Karen Jonas, who was not only the highest rated dentist but also the closest to the cruise terminal and aligned with my personal preference for female doctors. I called the office and asked for an emergency visit appointment, but learned they were booked for the day, nevertheless we went anyway hoping they could fit me in somehow, even if it meant waiting for however long it would take. We had a taxi driver who took us from the cruise terminal directly to Dr Jonas’s office and gave us his card and he said he would pick us up whenever we were ready. We waited patiently hoping I could get seen by Dr Karen Jonas; the office staff were very kind and helpful to us. After waiting some I was thrilled when the staff told me I would be next. My experience with Dr Karen Jonas was amazing, she was so thorough, and professional in explaining everything to me, and after she had to do much work in prepping the crown and inserting a new post, I walked out with my front tooth back in my mouth. I told her she was a miracle worker and that was the truth. I am so thankful they she was first able to fit me in and secondly to have had such skilled care. As an RN, CPHRM I was so impressed with the entire staff’s diligence with infection control procedures, some of the best I ever witnessed. When I completed the care from Dr. Jonas my husband called the taxi driver to let him know that we were ready to get back to the ship, unfortunately after multiple attempts he was not answering his phone and panic was starting to set in as we were to be back onboard within 45 minutes. The office staff also tried calling some drivers without success as well and then offered a staff member to drive us back to the ship so we would not miss it. Again, going above and beyond, what a blessing they were. We had been to Barbados many times and just love this island and the Bajan people but now we have a much higher appreciation. Dr Karen Jonas and her staff are truly precious gems on this beautiful island, and I am so thankful she took care of me that day.

A great experience with wonderful staff. I am usually very afraid of needles and machines and I must say that they walked me through everything and it was very calming service.

Dr Jonas and her staff are AMAZING!! she explains everything as she goes along. Also, I'm deathly scared of injections, and hers didnt hurt one bit!!! Seriously!!! Never had such pain free dental visits!!
