This is a well-stocked shop with a variety of products from around the world. I was there twice and both times the shop personnel were courteous and helpful. If you treat others with respect, you usually get respect in return.
Therefore, I disagree with some of the previous comments.
1. It’s a gourmet food store, not a playground. Self-entitled people are everywhere nowadays. Shops, restaurants, and hotels should speak up for their protection and that of the other customers.
2. It’s St. Barts, not mainland US or Europe. A bag of Spanish potato chips cost me roughly 2.5 times what it would cost in Spain. A jar of rillettes cost 2.5 times what it would cost in France. Considering transportation, spoilage, and a long low season, that’s not so bad. Shops need to survive. I just came from several other Caribbean islands and encountered prices that were quadruple or more Stateside.

This grocery is trying to be super posh, so they even don't put prices on goods. Obviously a place for those, who do not care about money. Also no attention or at least greeting from the staff, maybe because I did not wear Gucci or Armani when visiting...
