The tour itself was excellent — the guide and staff were warm, friendly, and very welcoming. The overall experience was truly memorable. HOWEVER, when my partner purchased the Appleton Estate 12‑Year‑Old Rare Casks, he was charged 40 USD instead of the 34.99 USD price displayed in the shop. My partner paid in cash using JMD and was charged 6,300 JMD, when the correct amount should have been approximately 5,530 JMD. In other words, he was overcharged, despite paying in cash. My partner only realized this discrepancy later when I asked him about the amount he had paid.

We visited Appleton Estate Rum Tour on an excursion with the resort we stayed at! We had an amazing time! Our tour started by sampling some Jamaican popular drinks with the coolest bar tender! Our tour guide was so amazing! She was so kind, knowledgeable and friendly! So sad I did not write down her name to include on here! We learned so much about Jamaican history, Rum, how it's made, how it's aged and so much more! We even got to tour where the run was made. This was such a cool stop and I highly recommend to visit here!

Alesha at the front desk was amazing! Great sense of humour and all round a lovely women to interact with! Also Peter our tour guide was brilliant! Gave a very interesting tour with great knowledge of the history of Appleton! Even with the rum tasting at the end! Great experience all round! And the bartender who served our welcome drinks (think his name was Andea) was so lovely! Great suggestions on which drinks we should go with and served them professionally! Definitely would recommend the new tour with the 5 tasters! Worth every single penny/cent!

The Tour was Amazing..
We had Great Host.
We learned a lot more about the Rum we been Drinking .
The Tasting was Awesome.

This was such a unique, fun experience. First of all, the property itself is beautiful! So luscious and green. The tour and tasting are very well thought out and organized. There’s a buffet so we got some food to eat, which was included in our entry fee. Very delicious and leaned more home cooked. I really enjoyed the tour, they gave us a behind the scenes tour of the rum making process, and had us try the products every step of the way and ended with actual tasting of different flavors. It was great and I’d highly recommend it.
