One never knows when you’re visiting a place for the first time and all you have is the opportunity to take a chance and hope for the best - especially with the intimacy of a massage. I’m so glad I did. I booked a 90-minute massage online then reached out on WhatsApp to confirm. Angelique, the owner of Beauty Inside Outs Spa, responded quickly and confirmed my appointment for the following day. When I arrived she was finishing up with another client, offered me a glass of water and then I was invited into the therapy room within 10 minutes. It was prepped after the last client, AC was running and music was playing. Everything about this massage was divine. Angelique was present - she was there with me, her mind/focus and hands attuned to my body. The flow/rhythm of her hands, pressure, pacing, the type of movements (deep or long strokes depending on the part of the body) were all like a dance. Angelique took her time. She used fresh-pressed coconut oil, which my skin soaked up after being in the sun and ocean for extended periods over the last three days. She asked permission before she massaged my belly. I was comfortable enough with her to talk about my Alopecia and hair loss as she massaged my scalp. When she noted the tightness in my shoulders where I hold my stress, I shared what was currently causing me stress in my life and she worked out every knot in my shoulders and did some pressure points on my neck. As I lay there reflecting on my stressors, feeling grateful for this quality self-care experience, Angelique got me some tissue to wipe away some quick tears - just a moment of emotional release - and I felt safe enough to do so. The spa is a simple space, but holds a powerhouse massage therapist. I have a Sound Bath massage and a Swedish Deep Tissue massage - both 90 minutes - scheduled for two more appointments while we’re in Bonaire. UPDATE: I had the Sound Bath massage today and it was an incredible experience. I thought Angelique would just be playing a recording of the singing bowls. Never did I imagine that throughout the massage she would place the bowls along my spine, upon the soles of my feet, on the crown of my head, on my stomach and actually play the bowls! The sound and the vibrations throughout my body were pure MAGIC!

I have posted on Tripadvisor. Angelique did my lash extensions and was very professional. Did a great job and she’s a beautiful human being. I enjoyed my time with her and was very happy with her services.

I reached out via WhatsApp on their website. Angelique responded right away and we booked a couples massage at the last minute. Extremely courteous and professional. I’ve had many massages and this one was INCREDIBLE. Hands down one of the best massages I’ve ever had. My husband was also very happy with Mar’s work. Do yourself a favor and GO.
