Bamboo House was easily our favorite dinner in SXM! The views and ambiance are incredible, especially around golden hour, so I highly recommend a 6:30-7 PM reservation. We were lucky enough to get a terrace table overlooking the water, and the setting was absolutely beautiful.
The chicken dumplings, beef short rib dumplings, salmon crudo, short rib udon noodles, and miso short rib were all delicious and packed with flavor. Great food, wonderful service, and an unforgettable atmosphere. We'd definitely come back on our next trip!

Overall great place with spectacular views (come at 6:30-7:00 to catch the sunset). We were offset and was still nice, but you want to be on the terrace. The staff from the valet to the concierge to the waiters are all wonderful - pleasant, accommodating, and attentive. Took some amazing pictures during sunset which is worth the cost alone. Drinks were all top notch and delicious - and very reasonably priced at under $20 each. Food was great, served right away and piping hot for the hot dishes and very fresh for the sushi. Can't wait to come back!

Omg. This was the best meal we had. We went for happy hour so Im not sure what it is like at night but they looked like they were getting ready to be BUSY. They took amazing care of my gluten allergy and had plenty of gluten free sushi both at happy hour AND on their real menu. Everything is clearly marked and they double /triple checked each item for me. Our group was VERY pleased and the bartender was so patient with us. Ps - the tiki punch is delicious and dangerous :)

This restaurant is so aesthetically pleasing! i love it! It unique because they have a driver come and drive you up to the restaurant it’s up
in the hills. Once you arrive the host sits you down … she took our order and we enjoyed live music great food & good drinks! The food was amazing!

They were playing really good house music when we got there.
But as it was a Thursday, they had live music later on. Sadly the singer was "cruise ship" quality and completely incongruent with the style of the restaurant and the cool vibes.
The food was good but not amazing.
The cocktails were indeed excellent. I had the fresh mango and sparking water one and my partner had the mezcal one.
