We made reservations for 6:45 on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was only about 1/3 full. No problem getting in. 4 of us had dinner. I had the ribeye, done medium and it was done right. The steak was very good but not the wow experience that I had 9 years ago when I had the steak there. My wife had sweet and sour chicken and she was very happy with the flavor. Our one friend had garlic shrimp and it was good, as was the coconut shrimp appetizer we shared. Our other friend had Salmon, which was very good. We all had steamed vegetables, which were very good too, slightly crisp, not soggy but nice and hot. Nice view all around the dinner seating as we were on the edge of the hill overlooking the water. We will return to Bananakeet if we're back on Tortola!

I am a bit disappointed in myself for taking so long to do a review for this particular restaurant. This is for the sole reason that every meal I have had here over the last decade has been lovely..Kudos to the management and staff. Food is great, the staff is top notch, pop over, have lunch or dinner, while enjoying that breath taking view. It will be worth it!

We stopped at BananaKeet for sunset drinks, and it ended up being one of our favorite nights of the entire trip. The view is unreal - a full 180° overlook of the ocean and surrounding islands with one of the best sunsets we’ve seen in the BVI!
The drinks were great too. I ordered the Ultimate Passion, and it was delicious. Between the atmosphere, the view, and the cocktails, it’s definitely a must-visit. Perfect spot for a sunset stop!

We stayed at the Heritage Inn for a night after a recent sail in the BVIs. There is a separate review of the inn (also 5 stars). We ate dinner at the cafe that evening. Everything was wonderful from start to finish! Service… excellent! Cocktails… sublime. We had champagne with dinner… yum! We shared some fritters and wontons, both delicious. The beef churrasco and catch of the day were both delicious. Dessert was divine! The setting is very nice, and we enjoyed a wonderful sunset. Lots of locals/regulars stopped by to eat! Easy to see why the ratings are so high! Highly recommend Bananakeet Cafe!

Excellent food and service. Enjoyed the coconut rum shrimp and ribeye was an outstanding choice.
