Nice lunch stop after our Dark View Falls trip - good local food and beautiful black beach front setting, looked quite chilled and authentic local joint... The rotis were very good!

Fantastic ocean view and alright food. We came here as part of a tour and the food was buffet style. We had options of fried fish, chicken drumsticks, sweet potato, breadfruit, plantains, cabbage salad, and another root veg. We also got to try the local beer and a soft drink (brown bottle, tastes like root beer but slightly bitter and very good!). Downside (or upside, depending) was that there were two very cute dogs and a cat roaming around under the tables begging for food. The whole place was a bit dirty.
There are also bathrooms which obviously aren't in luxury shape but decent enough!

Sadly, after my husband enjoyed a 5/5 bone-in chicken roti in the fall, we had a mediocre, flavourful lacking roti on our second visit. I was served blackish, which was described as a headless fish. Turns out it is the dried meat and blubber of a pilot whale. Boy, I wish I'd known that. I had one very fatty bite. It was not tasty. The salad was also swimming in oil. Very limited menu. A detailed written description would be appreciated.
The view is nice from tables with plastic chairs and tablecloths that could use a wash.

Went there on 1/1/2026 and there were tourists from a cruise ship there. Instead of asking us to wait awhile the young lady who we were talking to decided to behave like we were bothering her. The attitude she displayed was very nasty and left me disgusted. I told my husband that I didn’t want to stay there so we left and found another restaurant. That was my first and last time going there. Won’t recommend it to anyone

A relaxed restaurant/bar which is typically St. Vincentian. Chateaubelair bay is stunning, with great snorkeling around the rocks. Locals are very friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves a limited menu but is very reasonably priced. Top tip. Buy local Hairoun beers at 3 for EC$10. Buying single beers is more expensive...
