We went to Buzo on 3/23/26. We didn’t have reservations and were seated outside on the patio. We were an Italian family of 4 from Chicago. We ordered the caprese salad, Buzo signature salad, Boscaiola pizza & Affumicata pizzas along with a carafe of Chianti. Rico was an amazing server. We were super impressed by the quality of the pizza and the whole meal was top notch!

Luxurious dining experience with very nice ambience and extremely attentive service. Food was also excellent, overall a fantastic experience. Some of the best Italian food I've ever had in my life, definitely the best Italian food in Barbados for sure! The tiramisu especially was TO DIE FOR!!

*Changing my review from 5 to 4 due to the service. We went back a second time because we loved it. Janis was our service this time. She insisted that we needed to provide her with an additional tip. When my husband said "that's the service charge on the bill". She said that goes to the back of the house only. I don't like being lied to or when people try to take advantage of other people. Our first server was great. This was a big disappointment. It takes a lot for a restaurant to impress me. This one far exceeded my expectations. The squid ink risotto with prawns was phenomenal. The oil they paired with the dish took it over the top. I've had lamb with mint before but this mont sauce was spectacular. I could have drank a gallon of it. The service was great as well. They are not only professional but wonderfully personable and happy. This IS the restaurant you need to eat at if you are visiting and if you're local, I'm sure it's already on your list as a regular.

Oh Buzo, how I love thee. Let me count the ways! First, there is no better staff in all of Barbados. Such a welcoming environment to go into from the moment you enter the door. I am a regular at the bar and have had a lovely time working my way through the menu. The mushroom risotto with shrimp, the ensalata with an protein, gamberoni (cheesy risotto with jumbo prawns), contandina with the catch of the day, and the polenta topped with goat cheese and honey are just a few of my top 10! The wine list is unmatched, and the Tiramisu is to die for. This is a MUST do when coming to Barbados just for the atmosphere alone. 10/10 highly recommend.

I recently visited Buzo Osteria Italiana in Bridgetown, and I can confidently say that this restaurant lives up to its new title as Restaurant of the Year in the Caribbean! From the moment I stepped in, I was struck by the warm, elegant ambiance — an inspired fusion of Italian old-world charm and Caribbean vibrancy. The open-kitchen layout added a theatrical touch: watching fresh pasta being rolled, mozzarella stretched by hand, and pizzas pulled from the wood-fired oven felt like being part of a culinary performance. Every dish was a masterpiece. The polentina cotta al forno con gorgonzola e miele al tartufo was divine — a perfect balance of creaminess, earthiness, and sweet truffle notes. The Gamberoni alla Diavola showcased the best of local fresh seafood combined with bold Mediterranean flavors, and the Ligurian meatballs—which carry a secret blend of meats—were tender, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. Service was impeccable. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive without being intrusive, and clearly passionate about each dish. They guided me through wine pairings, explained menu details, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. It’s no surprise that Buzo has now been ranked #1 in the Caribbean and placed #41 in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list. They’ve seamlessly married authentic Italian technique with Caribbean soul, and the result is world-class dining right here in Barbados. If you’re in Barbados and want an unforgettable culinary experience, Buzo Osteria Italiana is a must. Bravo to the entire team — I can’t wait to return!
