We've been here 3 times during our holiday. Two lunchtimes and a breakfast. On all occasions the girls serving were very helpful and made us feel extremely relaxed. The food is freshly cooked and delicious. The pina colada's are amazing too. We will look forward to coming here again when we return to the beautiful island of Barbados.

Tucked away in the charming Chattel Village, this adorable spot is a local treasure! It's right next to the parking lot for Massy’s grocery and Starbucks, so just park there and take a short stroll over. For some history, Chattels were the first homes built by freed slaves, and now they’re home to a collection of cute boutiques and a souvenir shop! The service was as delightful as the food. We popped in for breakfast and were instantly smitten by the menu. We indulged in French toast, French waffles, Greek yogurt with granola, oat milk lattes, and Americanos. But the real star of the show? The Carizma breakfast bowl—packed with chickpeas, tomato and spices, fried egg, crispy bacon, and a slice of toast. It was a breakfast dream! Make sure to stop in, you’ll be happy you did!

This place was recommended to us by a friend and was very busy when we first passed by so a couple of hours later when we returned I gladly approached an empty table only to be looked at really unfriendly by the bar lady who questioned what I was doing. Slightly baffled I said we’d like to eat - she said she is not sure and called a waitress (unfriendly nr.2.) by whom we were told off how we should have waited at a designated point (there is no sign anywhere) for to be seated. This was the point where we should have turned around and leave but we were really hungry, so we obediently listened to her and let her confirm our table. Upon taking our order, when I asked what is the catch of the day, she had no clue so made a face, left to ask, came back and said “mahi mahi” with a tone that is used by my teenager when he is in a bad mood. Shall I go on and mention that she sloshed my drink but no apology? Nevermind. Such service we could not imagine, especially in lovely Barbados where we only had so far (1week) really pleasant experiences with lovely, friendly waiters. It left a bitter taste in our mouth. Food was average, pulled pork balls hardly any meat, fish ok but very oily, curry subpar. By the way, two other tables were taken by unsuspecting people like us - one of them (5 people) were ignored successfully until they gave up and left. How dare they just come and sit down… Long rant short, find another restaurant - or make sure you only sit with the waitress’s permission

We came for breakfast on Friday morning without a booking, but the girl who welcomed us was super friendly. We ordered two omelettes and two Americanos. The portions were generous and absolutely delicious. The coffee was great too! The staff are all very friendly, and the place has such a nice, vibrant vibe. Overall, a solid 5 stars from us!
