A must-visit landmark in Aruba! The California Lighthouse offers breathtaking panoramic views of the island and the coastline. It’s a perfect spot for photos, especially on a sunny day. The area is clean, easy to access, and has a relaxing atmosphere. Whether you’re visiting for the views, the history, or to catch a beautiful sunset, this place is definitely worth the stop. Highly recommended!

The California lighthouse is on the NW side of the island of Aruba and aptly named after a sunken ship. This is a great way to see the windward and leeward parts of the island with wonderful cacti and rock formation. Best of all a finished road takes you to the parking lot. There is a small fee to climb to the top.

The lighthouse and its history were very cool. There are amazing views, for sure, and a restaurant right there that was great! We did some exploring around the lighthouse after our trip up. Knocked off a star because it's really a traffic jam on the steps and up top but everyone managed.

Location is beautiful. I didn't go up to the top due to my knee surgery (still healing), but my sister did. She said it's very windy up at the top and the area is caged with a fence. She said she had to plant her feet and hold on due to the wind. But the view is nice from the ground too.

It's a nice lighthouse, with a view of 3 sides of the tip of the island. Very easy to get to, and we arrived around 6:30, when there weren't too many people. After some fun photos, we watched the sun set. There is the Faro Blanco restaurant that previously served as the residence for the lighthouse keeper. We did not try it, but I mention it as a reference point.
