Looking for a cool relaxing evening out for some good fun...whether with friends, family or solo...going to Barbados's newest cinema is definitely an option, set in a newly built complex of a variety of stores, small businesses and dining etc. With five cinema rooms to choose from the one CXC room has the more advanced Dolby sound system feature in cinema technology with over 60 speakers, there's also a gaming area with arcade amenities and an indoor playpark for the kiddos. Nice concessions area serving your basic cinema food...here you can also purchase your movie ticket if you haven't done so online with the option of choosing your preferred seating on the screen...a first for me and probably for the island. The cinema is quite clean and comfortable with seating inside the lobby to socialize while you either wait for a movie or relax with friends...a full dining restaurant is forthcoming which will add to the overall experience at the movies. Note:...they're kiosks for purchasing tickets online, but wasn't up and running on my visit...as which people are hopeful for soon, as it has already been proven frustration to purchase tickets in the same line for food...also be mindful there's a transactional fee for the online service.

My only complaint is for the concession stand itself. In my experience, you should probably 45 mins to 1 hr early because the rate of service (regardless of whether you pre-order everything or not) is painfully slow

It is amazing here. Listen I git ushered to my seat and was shown on the screen before where I could be seated in Barbados choosing your seat and reserving it before going into the theatre is unheard of. The staff, some well mannered young people

Showed up at 1pm, an hour before the Spiderman movie at 2pm. Asked for food, was told they don't sell food until 15 minutes before the show. The show has started and the food line has not even moved. Bad management, poor service and 50 people are behind us still! Just horrible.

Incredibly stupid payment system. Ordering and paying for food and tickets in the same line when there's 2 employees working at speed 0 doesn't make sense. Do better. Ticket kiosks don't work either and tell you to pay at the counter so you spent how much money to install them and why?
