Every time we come to Grenada, we think should we say somewhere else to do something new? But every time we keep coming back here. The location is prime with extremely easy bus access to the beaches or center of town. 10 minutes walk to a supermarket and local restaurants. Kevin, the caretaker, is extremely hospitable and wants to make sure that you are comfortable and enjoy your stay. Partial ocean views from most of the cottages, with a nice garden and chickens and local feel. Very good value for money. There are generally mosquitoes around, but this is pretty much an island problem and not something specific to the cottages here. It's not a Hilton, but if you consider yourself even partially an adventure traveler, you will absolutely love it here. Thanks Kevin for another great stay.

NEED A COMPLETE RENOVATION We stayed 2 months in the garden cottage with our two daughters, and we were not satisfied with the experience, so we left 1 month earlier than expected. Here are our comments: Pros: The location is just fine, 5 min walk from bus number 1 to go either to Saint George or to Grande Anse beach. Please note that Grande Anse beach is a rough 20-25min walking distance from the cottages in a very busy road with a tiny space for pedestrians. Nice garden with partial view to the ocean. There are hens and roosters in it, and these last ones crow from 5am. So do not forget your ears caps should you want to sleep. Kevon, the care taker of the cottages, is always there to help you and is very kind. There is a nice smart TV in the living room and wifi is working fine. Cons: Bed sheets, towels and kitchen clothes are cleaned with cold water in the only washing machine of the property, which is located in the laundry room next to Ishon’s appartment. This means all guests and workers living in the cottages share the same bacteria and mites. Our small daughter aged 4 had «scabbies» 16 days after moving to the cottage, and we are still suffering the consequences... The Cottage is very hot, and due to its location (below Kevon’s appartment), there is not too much wind coming in. There is only one portable stand fun for the whole cottage and it is clearly not enough. We have seen and old installation in the living room roof for a ceiling fun, but the fan was not there, it’s a pity. The air conditionning units in the 2 bedrooms are very old (my guess is more than 20 years old) and noisy (impossible to sleep with the A/C on), and they are not working properly (air is not cold enough). Besides, there is only one remote control unit for the two A/C units with the screen burnt and therefore unreadable. We ended by not using de A/C. The beds are not comfortable, the mattressess are made from foam and are very old.The bed sheets are old and worn out and 100% acrilic, so it is not pleasant at all to sleep in. We ended using our own bed sheets. The mosquito nets in the beds have holes, so they are useless. Almost half of the mosquito bay window nets in the Cottage are missing, and the ones in place are useless as they have plenty of holes, they do not close properly and they are moving out from the floor rails constantly, so mosquitos and all kind of insects and lizards find their way in. Please note that there are plenty of mosquitos in the property, so mosquito nets play a very important role. The lightning is insuficient in the living room and bedrooms. We had to use our head lamps to read stories to our daughters in the evening. The kitchen stove was dirty, and only 2 out of 4 stoves were working properly when we move in. The window in the kitchen was very dirty and plenty of dead insects. Fridge is very old and noisy, and the seals do not close properly, so the compressor is working all time day and night. There are plenty of little ants in the kitchen, and we also found big cockroaches in the kitchen drawers and WC. I believe no pest control is taking place in the property, appart from sparying some insecticide when the cleaning lady comes.
