My wife and I travel a lot, and wherever we go we always seek out great local craft beer. When we Googled “brewery,” this place came up first, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Cool little spot with fantastic beer, the OBSIDian stout was delicious. Richard was amazing. He took the time to teach us what goes into each beer, the story behind the names, and even shared some history of Barbados. We loved it here and will definitely be back. Thanks, Richard, for the awesome experience!

Found via Untappd, our group walked to this nanobrewery gem from the south part of Brandon's Beach. The place is a bit hidden in a section of the parking lot of Kensington Mall but we asked a friendly mall security guard there and he showed us the way. It's well worth seeking out! The staff were all super friendly including the master brewer who really took the time to describe the many different styles of beer on offer, mostly made on-site plus some from local partners, but also explaining a lot about craft beer on the island. We had some tasty pints and also some flights to be able to try a few more options. We were there on a Thursday evening so there were less food offerings than on weekends but the ham cutters (sandwiches) we had were lovely. This visit was a fantastic part of our experience in Barbados, thank you to the Carlisle Brewing team!

Just a very speedy visit today as had to get back to cruise ship. Received a really friendly welcome. Confronted with a menu board of around 16 beers, all locally made and a good variety of styles. Decided to go for the 4 beer try paddle. All the beers were very good and at the end was given a taster of a fruit beer made from a local fruit which was very nice. Definitely worth a visit, wish I had more time to sample the beer

We went traipsing across town looking for that illusive IPA. After weeks of nothing but island lagers I was at my breaking point!! The almighty Google said the brewery was closed today(Wednesday), HOWEVER, when we got to the place the door magically opened and the lovely lady invited us in as there was already a Canadian couple at the bar enjoying a couple of cold ones! What luck! Richard, one of the owners, was serving up delicious beer of various kinds and the quality was absolutely top notch! After a couple of hours the owner gave us a lift back to our dinghy. Absolute legend!

Wide variety of locally produced craft beers on tap. centrally located, friendly & helpful staff, sports bar type energy right beside the Kensington Cricket Ground. My beer (American Pale Ale) came mildly cool but my nephews beer (Soca Sweet) was ice cold. I honestly didn’t love the flavor of any of the three beers I tasted but they have 14 so maybe you’ll have better luck. They only seem to have food on the weekends - if they do - the smoked lamb is pretty amazing. They also have a full bar and tvs to watch whatever is happening sports wise. Pre order your food if you can.
