We had breakfast here and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious, and the matcha was excellent as well. We also loved the beautiful interior design and the overall atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the AC inside was a huge plus. There was both indoor and outdoor seating available, and the menu had so many options to choose from.
This place was easily one of the best spots we visited during our trip.
We will definitely come back!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Carolina’s! The air conditioning welcomes you in as you enter this beautiful establishment. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and brand new at only 8 months in business. The staff was exceptional! Having dietary restrictions, The staff was well informed and accommodating. The food… the catch of the day, chicken burger, specialty coffees and the out of this world best rum raisin ice cream and bread pudding with rum sauce completed our meal. Luke, you were so knowledgeable and pleasant! It was our pleasure to meet you and we will be seeing you for our morning lattes and cappuccinos… yes they are that good! I am going to advise you make reservations to not be disappointed. Thank you to the chef, Woody, for sharing your talent with us!

The food and drinks were mid. I had higher expectations based on feedback from friends on their visits.
The food took a while to arrive especially with only 2 or 3 other tables being occupied.
The croutons on the salad were soggy as if it had sat a while waiting to be served.
The sweet and sour shrimp was exceptional.
The rice bowl, I opted to substitute the shrimp for fish and that was my mistake. The sauce served with the shrimp was the same sweet and sour sauce used for the appetizer, but when I ordered the fish the sauce was served on the side. Understandably as it would not have paired well with the fish. However it left the bowl tasting bland and in need of a sauce. The rice used tasted suspiciously like long grain rice rather than jasmine and essentially it felt like I was eating a cold bowl of white rice topped with a few veggies and grilled fish.. Maybe they can explore a sauce that can be used specifically for the salad, regardless of the protein chosen.

I went to Carolina’s for both lunch (In April) and dinner (in May).
For lunch, I had the cajun chicken wrap and a side of salad. The wrap was packed with avocado and mango. It was such an unusual combination, for me, but it was so, so, so good. For dessert, I had the pear and apple crumble with icecream. The crumble was quite warm and fresh. I didn’t get photos of that since I ordered it as a takeaway. The very next week I went to dinner and I ordered the snapper special with creamy mash. Another 10 again. For dessert, I had the sticky toffee pudding with icecream.
Last but not least, I wanted to mention that the customer service from the initial phone call to book the reservation until the actual reservation was fantastic. Special shout out to Luke (not sure why I was calling him Zouk) for making us feel comfortable on both occasions. He was constantly checking in on us and making sure all is well. His hard work definitely paid off because I’ll be back again.
The only thing I need to try now is breakfast but so far, Carolina’s has gained a loyal customer.

What a find so close to where we are staying too. Only been open 4.5months so we walked in no problem but it’s going to get busier as this place is fabulous so better to book. They do roasts on Sunday’s, must book for these as the word has gone round already and Sunday is their busiest day. Really good menu choices. We had breakfast; full English excellent, proper bacon and sausage, eggs how you like. Breakfast sandwich very tasty and omelettes also brilliant. Good coffees too.
We liked it so much we have booked to try dinner there. They are only open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays currently but I’m sure that will change as they grow and they will grow.
