We bought a mini grease gun from this store (I don’t remember the exact price, but it was around $27–30 USD). After paying and leaving the store, we immediately noticed that the product inside the packaging was completely rusty.
We went back within a minute and asked if we could exchange it. There were only three items available, and we chose the one in the best condition. The cashier then kindly told us to come to her, as she would arrange a discount for us. At that point, we were pleasantly surprised and thought this was a fair and professional solution.
However, after a few minutes of paperwork, she informed us that we would receive a compensation of 1.7 BBD ...which is about $0.85 USD. Honestly, this is so minimal that it feels almost absurd.
My partner and I just looked at each other, speechless. In situations like this, you would reasonably expect a 10–30% discount for buying a clearly defective, rusty product that has probably been sitting there for a long time.
To make matters worse, even the exchanged item is rusty inside.
I believe that if we had been offered a 10–20% compensation, we would have happily left a 5-star review and recommended this place to others. Instead, we are left disappointed and have to write this complaint and give a 1-star rating.

Absolutely amazing store! Our crew needed lots of bits and Kevin came to the rescue. He assisted us with such grace and kindness. We came back day after day and he went to great lengths to help us. We’re all so grateful for his perfectionism, professionalism and kind soul, it’s clear the man knows and loves what he’s doing. The whole team were all kind and helpful, but we want to especially thank Kevin, you’re a legend!! 🫶🏽

This was a pleasant surprise as I thought they only had fishing supplies. I found all the hardware type stuff I was looking for and they do have some household items as well. The staff was very helpful. Definitely will use that location again.

On Dec. 6, 2017 I purchased a full set of snorkel equipment there. Service was great and they have a great selection masks, fins and snorkels I would definitely recommend if you are looking to buy this equipment instead of paying the $10 per hour that most of the rental vendors charge.
