We had such a fantastic time exploring the Cayman Crystal Caves! The rock formations, underground lakes, and surrounding nature are absolutely breathtaking and a must-see when visiting Grand Cayman.
A special shoutout to our guide, Syd, who was truly awesome! Syd was extremely knowledgeable, sharing cool facts about the history and geology of the caves, while keeping the entire tour lighthearted, fun, and super engaging for the whole group.
If you're visiting the island, definitely don't miss this tour—and ask for Syd if you can!

We enjoyed our tour of the 3 caves. They were all unique in their own way. The crystal lake cave was the coolest. Our tour guide (Jean Luc) was friendly and willing to answer lots of questions. There were times we couldn't hear our guide because he was kind of far away and he didn't have a microphone like other guides. Overall it was a fun experience.

We arrived mid-day in June for a tour. It was quite hot and lots of mosquitoes. The tour was fun and interesting, and took about 2 hours total. Our guide had a good attitude and made it fun. We saw 3 caves and they were beautiful, especially the last 2. They had lighting installed and stairs, railings, etc to make it easy to walk through. They also had a large deck with benches, tables, and fans to wait for the bus. Cold water was provided, and other beverages and alcoholic drinks were available for purchase. There was a gift shop and restrooms in both the front waiting area and the cave area. My only complaint was that the front office people seemed grumpy, and the vans to the caves were in a state of disrepair. I also thought it would have been better to have a couple more caves open at least, although they are working on it. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience to see a different geological wonder of the island.

Cool experience while on the island. You learn a little bit about the history of the islands as well as the caves both from the manager and the guides. The guides were great, dropping knowledge and cracking jokes along the way.
If you’re looking to use this as an escape from the heat, don’t. The caves are very hot/humid and there is a bit of very light nature walking from one cave to the next.
Nathan, our tour guide, was wonderful. Taught you about the caves and the culture.
If you’re looking for something other than beach and water, this is the activity.

Nathan is a great tour guide and made it fun with four kids. It was interesting to learn about the mangos in the Caymens how they use them for jam and vinegar. He also did a great job explaining how if they put a paved road the caves would be destroyed. It’s a little bump ride but well worth it.
