Sat there on a Monday night feeling attracted by the Kompa music, and the place was noticeably fuller than the others. It does not seem by chance, as this was one of my top lolos of the trip. I had a beautiful fresh pineapple piña colada (topped with cinnamon, a delicious discovery I am for sure bringing home) and the boiled local fish (red snapper) which came whole and super fresh in an aromatic broth, with a generous portion or rice, plantain and avocado salad. Yum! For that price, what an excellent value.

This is the perfect spot to kick back at the beach with a cold drink in your hand and incredible views. The drinks were refreshing and the food was amazing. The shrimp cocktail and mango madness were my favorite.

I cannot say enough good things about this beach bar. The service is welcoming and friendly. I come to SXM 2-3 times a year. Everyone from Laurell, Sophia, Ziggy, May, Kemberly…it’s like being with family. I cannot leave out the cooks on the grill. The ribs are so good. Everything I have eaten was delicious. Laurell makes the best Bloody Mary, Sophia makes the best pain killer and Ziggy just makes everything good. It’s the people at this beach bar that keep us coming back. Owners and managers make sure you treat your staff right. If it wasn’t for them, you would not be as great as you are.

My fam and I ordered cocktails at this spot. Most of their cocktails/mixed drinks are $11, but they offer a BOGO type of deal, so they were effectively $5.5 for certain drinks! My favorite was the mango madness. So good! It was like a smoothie + alcohol!

We spent a week in June at Simpson Bay Resort celebrating our 30th anniversary. Coco Beach Bar was a regular stop! Good food, good drinks, good atmosphere, and amazing views. Can't wait until next time.
