Conset Bay

I had the pleasure of visiting Consett Bay for their Fisherfolk Day, part of BARFISH. 🎣 Although it wasn't my first time in Consett Bay, it was my first real visit. Previously, I had driven down the hill into Consett Bay on two occasions, only to turn around and head right back over the hill. 🚗 This time was different as we were there as Fisherfolk supporting our counterparts. Apart from the festive atmosphere, which was delightful 🎉, I took the time to truly observe the Bay. Consett Bay, in my opinion, is a gem tucked away in the lovely parish of St. John. 💎🌿 I love the basin design of the Bay. But my favorite activity was walking out onto the jetty. 🚶‍♂️ This is when the real beauty of the Bay comes alive. The view is breathtaking, with the rocks and greenery creating a stunning scene. 🌊🌳 The people there were also very friendly 😊, and there was plenty of fresh fish to enjoy. 🐟🍴 If you are touring through the island, this location should be a must-stop. 🌴🗺️ Don't miss out on this hidden gem!

I loved it. This was the destination of our hike from Bath Beach House. It is just as I remembered from about 16 years ago.
