We stayed at Eco Lifestyle & Lodge just down the road from De Garage. After a long day of travel we stopped at De Garage for dinner. It was really good! We had a burger with wedges (soooo good) and fried chicken with sweet potato fries (also good!). Def recommend. They accept credit cards too.

This grill restaurant is a huge scam, don’t go there!
We saw the very good ratings on Google and decided to stop there because another place we wanted to visit was fully booked and had no availability. We thought this would be a good alternative. However, when we arrived, no one was there. The place felt deserted, and the dining room had been taken down. There was a menu, but it had no prices listed. After ordering, we asked about the prices and how much we would need to pay, but the owner refused to tell us.
While we were sitting and waiting, we checked the reviews on TripAdvisor again, and the latest posts were a disaster. The food, if I can even call it that, arrived, and honestly, I have never seen anything like it in my life. I ordered stewed vegetables as a side dish, but I received a few carrots and only the stems of broccoli. And don’t even get me started on the fries, they tasted like paper, were dry, and rock hard. That has nothing to do with cooking.
Overall, it was just disgusting, and I barely ate anything. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. I honestly don’t even want to give it one star; it deserves -5.

An authentic Barbados bar with excellent home-cooked food. The grilled fish was just outstanding, and we came here pretty much every day. Deborah, Kimberley, Jonathan, and Sam made the whole place very welcoming. It's very clean, with great menu choices and fresh ingredients. We cannot stop thinking about it and miss it very much. We absolutely loved the grilled Red Snapper, Marlin, Flying Fish, and grilled vegetables. The bread pudding was also very good. We cannot recommend this place enough; you cannot go wrong by going here. The ambiance is very easy-going and simple, and the food is just incredible.

I found this place on Google maps due to its good reviews and was not disappointed! it is a small family run business where you can eat outside or inside while having magnificent views of the ocean. food was very good, too. I had the macaroni pie and baked chicken. especially the chicken was a welcome change from all the deep fried stuff I usually have 🙂.
