ordered the lobster, which was listed on the menu as “BBD 80 up.” However, no price was confirmed with me before the dish was prepared and served. After the meal, I was charged BBD 150, which was unexpected and unreasonable.
If the lobster had been fresh and well prepared, I might have understood the higher price. Unfortunately, it was not. The lobster tasted overly salty, as if it had been seasoned and left in the refrigerator for a couple of days. It was not fresh, very tough, and dry, which made the experience disappointing.
Charging more than the listed price without prior notice, combined with poor food quality, is unacceptable. I would not recommend ordering the lobster here.

We ordered the mahi mahi and the shrimp both with rice and peas + coleslaw. The portion was good but definitely on the smaller side compared to other food stands. The mahi mahi was good but have had better. The shrimp was definitely good though. It’s a shame others haven’t got good experience with it but for us, it was tasty.

Had bbq pigtails and plantains. Food was tasty and portion big. Worth the 30bbd to enjoy local specialty. The macaroni salad though is not as tasty as at Pat’s place.

We went on a SUPER busy Friday night, during the fish festival. Not knowing what to expect as it was our first local “chop shop” meal, we were pleasantly surprised - we had great food with large portions and met friendly and attentive staff, despite them having people lining up in the streets. They had the best fried flying fish cutters too. The macaroni pie and rice and peas were good too.

The BBQ spare ribs were great. The shrimp were good but only got 6. Low review because the waitress tried to overcharge us.
