Reviewing just the restaurant and marina here, and the vibe is absolutely spectacular. The marina and docks themselves are incredibly nice, and the restaurant’s food, drinks, and ambiance are completely outstanding. It perfectly blends a high-end dining experience with gorgeous tropical views and an unreal sunset. The food was next-level good. We started with the fried pickles, which were amazing. For mains, the filet mignon was excellent, but my absolute favorite was the Vongole pasta packed with seafood. As much as I would love to give them a 5-star review overall, I have to drop it to a 4 because of the state of the restrooms. I have both boys and girls, and both bathrooms were undesirably dirty, stinky, and frankly unusable. They smelled strongly of old urine, to the point where we actually went back to our boat just to use the head. For a restaurant and marina of this caliber, the upkeep should be way better. Aside from that major restroom issue, the food, drinks, and views are still some of the best on the island.

An Unforgettable Evening at Firefly Sunset Resort – Truly Exceptional! We just had one of the most wonderful evenings at Firefly Sunset Resort on Elbow Cay! The food was absolutely fabulous. Martin devoured their incredible rack of lamb, while I thoroughly enjoyed their delicious seafood quesadilla - both were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the incredible kindness and care we experienced beyond the meal. When we arrived, I realized I had left my iPhone behind. I immediately asked our wonderful waiter, Jaheem, if he would check with driver Pinky from Firefly to see if it had been dropped in their minivan. Jaheem went above and beyond, quickly following up. Then I found the location on my Apple Watch that I had actually left it on the porch of the Hope Town Clinic after weighing myself on their scale on the porch prior to being picked up. Without hesitation, Jaheem contacted Firefly’s driver Pinky, who kindly went back, found my iPhone and brought it to me to capture sunset! I can’t thank Pinky and Jaheem enough for their outstanding efforts and genuine care. A huge thank you as well to Lewis, who attended to us so graciously throughout the evening - his warm hospitality made us feel completely at home. Firefly Sunset Resort delivered not only outstanding cuisine but also heartfelt service that reminds you why Elbow Cay and its people are so special. We can’t say enough about how much we love this beautiful island and the amazing individuals who are its heart and soul. If you’re visiting Elbow Cay, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Firefly Sunset Resort. You’ll leave with a full belly, a happy heart, and (thanks to their team) all your belongings! Highly, highly recommended - we’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant at the Firefly Resort has a wonderful location overhanging the ocean with captivating views. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. This eating place is elegantly decorated, and the staff very attentive and willing to please their guests. I was there for lunch and concentrated on the Bahamian section of the menu where I had the fish cooked blackened. It came with two sides. My selection was the Bahamian mac & cheese and of course, the peas and rice. The fish portion was very generous cooked just right, moist and succulent, with a nice flavor of herbs and spices. Both sides were also well prepared even though the menu is small it has adequate choices to satisfy the non-picky customer.

After reading the previous reviews, you all sound like a bunch of whiny, ungrateful, spoiled kids. It’s the BAHAMAS!!! You and your family should be grateful that you get to spend time there and with each other. Jesus, these reviews piss me off. All of you looking at your phone or watch, timing how long service takes and complaining about them running out of menu items. Enjoy the views, enjoy your family. You should try running a resort that only can be accessed by boat or plane. Love this resort and everyone that works there!
