Nice location, handy platform with a free telescope. But alas no flamingos when we visited. We did see some puffins and other sea birds. Of course no guarantees of birds.

We came here on the way back from loblolly beach. Sort of just randomly. There is a viewing platform that allows you to see the flamingos in the distance. They provide a high powered standing binocular. There is an information board with all the various wildlife in the area. It’s a nice free short touristy thing to do while on such a beautiful island! I’ve added some photos as well! Everyone just parks on the side of the road.

The flamingos were way out near the tree line. There are high powered binoculars to view them for free. Very cool to see this wild habitat.

They have a wooden riser at this location for viewing. The flamingos are pretty far away from this spot but cool to see them in their natural habitat. You can also consider a boat charter and with a little luck they can get you to the east side of the island when the birds decide to congregate there.

There was a cool lookout but when we went there was only 2 flamingos. We did see a few hundred flying over the beach soon after though.
